Atmosphere: good, lots of tvs and booths separated by plastics barriers…it was dinner and no one was there…maybe 20 people? Our table was a little sticky so they def lose points for not having a clean table. 5/10
Server: She was nice came over and took our drink order and came back in a reasonable time and we ordered…when I was deciding on sauces she could have told me some of them were extra charge (I didn’t see it on the menu but it would have been nice to have been told as well if it was) she brought out the food when it was ready checked on us once but could have maybe checked in a little earlier with a drink refill as she asked us if we needed drinks nearly when we were finished. She did minimal flirting except to call me sweetie which is annoying cause I’m double her age and don’t need pandered to especially in front of my daughter…what if I was married or had a gf and she’s like daddy why is she calling you that and then went home and told my other and it was an issue…shouldn’t do that…I still give her a solid 7.5 of 10
Food: I ordered 16 wings and 12 shrimp I got sauces on the side- honey Thai, spicy garlic(supposedly their hottest), hot and 3 mile island(next hottest) My daughter just got a burger and fries which was average 5/10. So the shrimp was 100% overcooked and the breading was ehhh. Out of the sauces I liked the spicy garlic and the 3 mile island the best….not a fan of the honey Thai and the hot was just mid. Now the chicken wings….some were HUGE almost drumstick size and some were not. What does that mean? They are all cooked in the same batch so you get some way overcooked and some slightly undercooked. I had one that was a little pinkish and suspect. Without sauce these are a 2/10 zero flavor in the breading. Since I already talked about the sauces I won’t go there again…my biggest gripe besides the varying temp doneness of the wings is way way too much breading on these looks like they are maybe breaded, dipped in an egg wash or milk and then breaded again. It was too much and had zero flavor. Food score from me would be a 5.5/10…
Not somewhere I’d frequent or even go again for awhoke(I think the last time I went was over 20 years ago) and it just didn’t have quality for the 60$ I threw down…
2.5/5 for total experience even tho I am clicking 3 stars it won’t...
Read moreWe came to Hooters with a group of 11 to watch the Eagles game. We arrived about an hour early and the staff was able to seat us together, which we appreciated. Our server was great—friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy it got once the game started.
As for the food, the buffalo shrimp were excellent and the wings were solid. Unfortunately, the clams were inedible—overcooked to the point where I chewed one for several minutes before giving up. Definitely would not recommend ordering them.
The bigger issue was with the TVs and management. We were seated in a section full of Eagles fans, yet the TV directly in front of our table was showing the Lions game, while the Eagles were on a screen behind us. Half our table had to turn around just to watch. We asked the manager if the TV in front of us could be switched to the Eagles game (after confirming with nearby guests that they weren’t watching the Lions). The manager was dismissive and rude about it, which soured the entire experience.
Our server alone saved this from being a one-star review, but overall, the food was hit-or-miss and management clearly doesn’t care about customer experience. We won’t be coming back. Avoid this location if you’re looking for a good game...
Read moreSo my husband and I come here quite often. They usually pour strong drinks and its not usually crowded unless of a sporting event. Now they are corporate owned for the last 6 months +/-. Prices have been increased and be aware on specials cause they seem to try to bill you full price to see if you catch it. We used to go here about every 2 weeks and last time half price shrimp was full price until we said something. Made me wonder how often they sneak that by people and they have done that to us before. So now 2 people 1 app 2 drinks each and 2 plates of 10 wings with 1 shot is running us about $80. Sorry but not worth it. We will be spending a lot less here. A lot better food options available for $80 and drink prices are way overpriced now. The place needs a major...
