La Camarona — Restaurant in Brookside

La Camarona is a Mexican style restaurant that specializes in seafood and delicious cocktails! They have tons of great options whether you're in the mood for seafood or not! I tried the Porterhouse steak which was flambéed table side with tequila and served with mash potatoes and a cheese stuffed pepper. Even though the portion sizes were on the larger side, each dish still had a very nice presentation. The fish tacos were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Piña Loca was amazing! I loved the combo of the savory cheesy shrimp and sweet pineapple chunks. The octopus was tender and had a nice char flavor. For drinks, if you're indecisive like me, I definitely recommend a Margarita Flight! (My favorites were the Blue Jalapeño and Strawberry). We also tried the Paloma which was served in a custom La Camarona cup and a few other cocktails (some smoked table side). Both of the deserts we had were amazing! Not good food the fish was undercooked and had no flavor we tried asking for salt to add to the the fish and even went as far as asking the manager for salt and never got it. I asked for a cocktail drink never got it and then a beer because I was finishing the food after we stole salt from another table. I never got the beer or the cocktail but I did get the bill and the cocktail was brought out to me last minute but the beer was not and I was still charged for it even though I told the waitress about it she replied they were very busy and smiled but did not seem to understand I no longer wanted the beer to not charge me but she still charged me for a drink I never got terrible service and terrible food do not waste...

We were just there last week, we had a server name Talia! She was amazing, she came to the table to greet us with in 2 minutes after we were sat, she brought our drinks right away, and our food too. She made sure it was perfect! We had such an amazing experience despite how picky I am about service! She went and extra mile to please all of us, specially my kids they all love Talia.
