My husband and I visited your establishment on 4/26. First off, I have a torn meniscus with a limp and don't like to walk very far. We walked by many empty booths and ended up being seated at one of the farthest booths. My husband ordered his usual 8 ounce Dallas filet, medium rare with a baked potato and broccoli. He specifically requested the potato to be "swimming in butter". I ordered the 16 oz. handcut sirloin with mashed potatoes and chili for my side. I thought my sides were going to be served together, but the chili was brought out first, as though it was an appetizer. I eat my chili over my mashed potatoes. The chili was warm, not hot. The waitress didn't come back for awhile until after I had eaten the chili, as I didn't want to eat it completely cold. Okay, I can do this. When the rest of our dinner was served we both cut into the steaks, mine was slightly less done than the medium rare that I had ordered, but that's okay, I can do this. My husband's first bite of his steak was fine. The waitress came back to ask about the steaks and we let her know they were good. The next bite of my husband's steak was cold. The waitress returned and asked how things were and he let her know that the steak was cold. She asked if he wanted that one warmed or wanted another one made. My husband indicated that he wanted another one made. She took the steak but appeared to have somewhat of an attitude. Someone from the kitchen brought the next steak, which was charred on the outside. We received no service after this. Our waitress never returned to ask how the steak was or offer to get us more drinks. My husband's baked potato had NO butter on it, only a sparse amount sour cream. My husband attempted to flag several people down, including two people who walked right by our table on the way to the kitchen, but they all pretended not to see or hear him. He finally got the attention of a nice young lady on her way to the kitchen and asked for a manager. A manager came and he explained to her what had happened with the steak and no service, and asked to get a box for my steak and the check. To my surprise, she did not even apologize, but brought the box and the check. My husband tried to give her his card to pay the check, but she just told him he could use the kiosk, which he knew he couldn't use without leaving a tip. No customer service here. My husband has been eating here for years, it was one of his favorite restaurants, however he will not eat...
Read moreOur waitress was the only thing good about our visit. We went when the restaurant was far from busy. Walked up to the host and told her it was 2 of us, she then was completely quiet tapping away on her tablet for about 2 minutes not saying a single word until she finally said she was waiting for a server. So we stepped to the side to wait for the server. A server came and seated a different party, and then another came and seated another party so we got the picture and went to the bench. I wasn’t paying attention, but my partner told me they had seated a couple that arrived well after us before seating us. We had seen them talk to the hostess and they did not have a reservation or anything.
We finally get seated and get a great waitress. We order our food and it comes. I ordered the 11 oz. sirloin medium rare. I cut into it and it is incredibly rare not even close to medium rare.
A worker in a red shirt comes by and asks how the night was going, I told her the issue and showed her the steak and she then just stared at me for a solid minute before asking “so do you want it to be refired?” I say sure and she leaves. Another worker came with the refired steak, I cut it and it’s still just as rare as before because they only seared where I cut. They bring it out for the third time and it is finally not rare but instead the entire steak is cooked unevenly, some of it was well, some was medium, and some was medium rare. On top of that the meat was so tough I could barely cut it.
And for the cherry on top, some worker slid a chair right in front of my booth which made it a bit difficult to get out.
For a place that is known for steaks, you would think they could cook a sirloin. With all the other options around here, I ain’t coming here again and suggest you don’t either. I could’ve gotten a better meal and friendlier service at any other restaurant (fast food or dine in).
At least my dog will be happy about the whole thing cause now he gets an...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Texas Roadhouse location. Walked in and I requested a table for five and clearly informed the host that the fifth person would arrive 30 minutes later. After waiting 20 minutes in line (told from hostestt that table will be ready in 10 min prior of waiting) we were told to be long wait, and we asked to be seated and we can start ordering while we waited for our fifth guest.
When we were finally seated, we were placed at a table meant for four people. The staff insisted we “squish together” and refused to add a chair to the side because they claimed to be a fire code violation . This is completely unreasonable—especially since there were empty tables available that simply had not been cleaned.
To make matters worse, there were five tables open before we were seated. I specifically requested one of those tables, but the host said they were “reserved for a large party.” However, one of those same tables was later seated with only three people. This level of inconsistency is beyond frustrating.
We also noticed that another table, which arrived after us, was cleaned and served while we were left waiting in a poor arrangement.
This level of disorganization and disregard for customer comfort is unacceptable. Management (Samantha) needs to address the lack of communication, poor prioritization, and failure to properly accommodate guests. A simple meal turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience.
Request for medium, came out to be rare… (If its one steak, not a problem, however, it was two different style of steak…) We address this issues, and the manager said that is how we make the steak, that is a medium “style “ of a steak (ridiculous!)
Good luck to this location, and best wishes for your future success
P.S - our servers Maia...
