Ton's Drive In — Restaurant in Broussard

The burger was pretty good. Our country fried chicken was undercooked and a little pink. That wasn’t the issue, mistakes happen.

Value for Dollar it was expensive in my opinion 1 cheeseburger 1 fried chicken sandwich 1 soft drink No sides, fries etc $18Bur even that really wasn’t our issue.

Our issue was the service. The people were nice it was about operations We went on a Saturday around 11:30am. We looked over the menu and 80% of what we tried to order they said wasn’t available on Saturdays even though the menu indicated otherwise. Instead of us continuing to try to order things that aren’t available, how about you tell us what is available. Or simply, have a separate Saturday menu. I’m sure “regulars” know what’s available but we aren’t regulars and it was frustrating.

That being said the burger I had was a solid burger. Good flavor. Not saying I think it’s the best but definitely hits the spot of you...

The burgers and fries are always awesome along with the customer service, but today one young lady got under my skin. Another of the employees was speaking to me and inquiring about who knew in the area as she thought I was from ST Martinville. While was replying to her, a young lady rudely interrupted with shear disrespect. I'm passive about most things but that got to me. My name is Herb and not Hun, Boo, love. Sir, mister, or nothing except may I help you would have been appropriate. Not wanting to make a scene, I politely got my food and left. She made me feel as though I was not welcomed. I've been going to Ton's since the mid 70s and have always enjoyed the food. If I have to tolerate the attitude from someone who I have shoes that are older, I may go...

If you want to discuss the history of old school dinners with that back in the day feel well Tons takes the cake. My elders from my nanny to ther people over the years I grew up with in this beautiful city of Broussard have been hard working employees making sure that your visit to Tons drive through is not only a tasty treat but also food on the go in a timely manner.
