Fish King Seafood Restaurant & Market — Restaurant in Brownsville

Tonight 4-20-21 we ate at Fish King restaurant in Brownsville. We found it to be fantastic again. We had Sea Bass Florentine preceded by a shrimp cocktail. It was all we could do to finish that for 2 of us and it was the medium. The Florentine was superb-well done with lots of sauce and numerous kinds of vegetables in it. The service was great-very efficient. Cost was only 12.00. The restaurant only seats 29 including the upstairs. It is clean and well cared for. You have to be aware it’s located at the light. We turned into Jack in the Box by mistake, but my husband drove on the shoulder of the street to get in their parking lot since it’s right next door. It’s small & cozy. Very friendly server, FRESH HOMEMADE seafood & aguas frescas. We choose our fish from the fish market & got it cooked the way we wanted it. We google searched for seafood and Fish King showed up so we tried it. We were greeted by the warmest man who made us feel very welcome. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. We had fried and blackened fish and it was delicious. They make their own fish broth/soup as appetizer. It too was delicious. Homemade chips were excellent. Service was outstanding.
