Great service upon arriving and ordering. Food.. Un-eatable. Ordered the all you can eat fish fry. Both breaded and battered. Looked good but tasted awful. Fish was grey and nothing but mush. Showed our waitress and ate a bit of it but had to ask for a new order thinking that maybe it was cooked incorrectly or a bad piece of fish. Got the exact thing brought out to us, Grey mushy fish. We told the waitress, who by the way was very gracious and understanding, to have the chef look at what he/she was serving and that we could not continue to eat there. We did eat some of the coleslaw and fries and our soda. We were prepared to pay a little something but the server came back with a 50% off the check offering. We should have not been charged a dime. And we said so. But despite our horrible experience, we paid the $12 plus change and left her a tip. We told her that it wasn't her fault, she did not cook our meal. We left to our car and a young man came storming out of the restaurant yelling at us that we offended the waitress and that we should have spoke to him about the problem. After we had already done so at our table when he offered to get us something else from the menu. He tried to bully us and claimed we "got in the waitresses face" and upset her, which we absolutely did not. She apologized to us and we confirmed that it was not her fault. This young man was enraged and pumping his chest and totally unprofessional. We will now proceed to give all of our friends and family the "stay clear of this restaurant" warning and I will be posting this to Facebook, Yelp and the...
Read moreStopped in for breakfast. They have some specials that may appeal to you. Didn't wait at all for a table and the waitress came along quickly with the coffee. I thought the coffee tasted fine. They don't have Splenda. Only the red packet sugar substitute, so you may want to bring your own. Eggs over medium were perfect. Hash browns have a little onion in them which I liked. They were rather crispy, maybe just a tad too much, but very tasty all the same. Bacon was crispy as I asked. Toast was fine. Price was very reasonable. Place was clean. Waitress was friendly and made sure that everything was ok and checked with me regularly to see if I needed more coffee or anything else. Other menu options were good including waffles and pancakes, steak...
Read moreI didn't know about this place until my aunt suggested it for breakfast the other day..C&J is their favorite Diner for breakfast in Medina. It is family owned and everything is scratch made. Husband and I tried the Omega and it is a lot of food for under $12 . Home fries are good, pancakes are huge too! I couldn't finish it so I took home the biscuit and sausage gravy. The server was really friendly and you can tell she has been working there for a long time. It doesn't look like much from Pearl road but I would highly recommend this place for a go to breakfast, which has a very family friendly atmosphere. Prices are fair for what you are getting. They also offer Greek dishes and Fish fry on Friday night....
