K's Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Brunswick

This is now K's Dairy Bar and they've expanded into food. We're more interested in the ice cream and super happy they've kept Giffords. My biggest issue was how small a regular sundae was for the price. Last season, we could get 4 ice cream bowls, usually 2 large scoops each, and 3 of them being sundaes for about $22. This came to over $28 and they only had one okay-ish scoop each for the sundaes. Hopefully, this is just growing pains of new management, and the sizes will improve. Paying over $7 for what is essentially a small sundae isn't something we'd do often. Otherwise, the staff was great and the ice cream...

This place used to have the best soft ice cream, super smooth and creamy, but the new owners have changed the recipe. It is now watery, flavorless junk with actual ice crystals. My wife and I used to look forward to stopping here often. We were shocked at how bad it had become. There are plenty of places to get a good burger and fries, but now there is nowhere in Brunswick to get good soft serve. There always used to be a line outside, now...

Cute little ice cream shop off Bath road in Brunswick. Quite a variety of scooped ice cream flavors to choose from. We went with soft serve though and there were only a few flavors to choose from. The chocolate was a little watery and more like a sherbet consistency. Not really soft serve. I guess we will try something different next time.
