They’ve been very patient with me over the phone in regards to my dietary questions. They are not an all organic restaurant per se. However they seem to be making a lot of good choices in regards to what people are consuming.
God Bless
P.S. Lat time I was there; they really seemed to have the A.C. cranked up inside. That be said I am almost never in air conditioned environments. Even while driving etc. I’ve you are trying to repair your Thyroid and get chilly easy, you might consider their lovely seating area outside.
It is tranquil and even has a soft relaxing waterfall type of setup for the Cuoi fish pond.
The make many of their breads and other things in house. Please support these folks in trying to supply people with real food.
(The following is more of a review of the people themselves and their living communities) I am writing this because I’ve seen many reviews for other Deli locations that are sometimes a bit critical of these folks, probably mostly from people that have never visited any of the actually communities.
They usually try to help people out if they can really tell someone is in need. They are faith based.
Yes I understand there (may) be some controversy behind their communities. Most people may not be aware of this and am certainly not trying to stir anything up here with this post.
I’ll say this. There are two side to every story. No one is perfect and no community is ever always 100% perfect.
They seem to really be after God’s heart though and doing a lot better the many other people of the world at these days.
I hope this doesn’t offend anyone personally though. I’m just saying on average they seem to have excellent morales. I’ve busted a few of their communities now and I don’t really feel they are they way they have sometimes been portrayed in the media by people who may have a strong bias against certain religious crowds.
The children they have seem happy to me. I pray that their communities keep growing and improving and that they blessed with all the resources they need to flourish in the communities and all of their delis.
I pray the people that help make large scale decisions for the communities are allowed the discernment they need to make they best...
Read moreHad an iced chai tea, chicken Chipotle sandwich and a slice of carrot cake. Sandwiches are steamed they won’t toast it, and you can have it cold also if requested. The chai iced tea tasted too watered down also the cup was small for the price and well also for the taste. The sandwich tasted good. I had it with a side of chips I was under the impression I’d get a bag but I just had the chips thrown in there which the chips were okay but they didn’t seem too fresh. The carrot cake also didn’t seem fresh and was so bland, though the frosting was good. Anyways I was expecting a lot more for $5 worth of small slice of carrot cake (don’t waste your money on the carrot cake or iced chai tea). Service is not close to best. I walked in they didn’t acknowledge me at all even as I’m standing in front of the register. I expressed I placed an order and the direct me to another counter. Which no one really acknowledges me at least to tell me they will attend the register soon. Then they asked me for my order they ring me up and asked to sign the receipt and didn’t even handed me my receipt or asked if I need it. Place is quiet looks very cute. A lot of sitting space, nice place to pull out laptop and work. The location is pretty perfect since there is not a lot of traffic and you could even enjoy your meal outside in their...
Read moreThis place is a cult and if you are alone they will try to bring you in. Please do your research. When I visited, I sat outside. It started raining so I asked for my food to go, since I had already ordered. Once my food was ready it was POURING. The wife offered to get an umbrella & walk me to my vehicle. First, she HELD on to me tight with her hands wrapped around my back, which I felt was too close to comfort but I didn't think much of it. She asked me where I was from & I told her I travel 24/7 so I don't have a singular place. Her eyes lit up, telling me how her and her husband have a homested, etc. At this point I'm at my truck trying to leave - keep in mind it was RAINING. She keeps talking asking me if I would come back to visit them, telling me I can reach out to them if I need anything. It was weird, I just met them & never had a full conversation with them. At first I thought they were just being nice but I started getting a REALLY BAD gut feeling. I looked up the place & found the owners are cult members probably trying to take advantage of the fact that I travel alone. Even if they don't try to bring you in on their cult, coming here is supporting it and funding it. Please educate yourself &...
