Frankie's — Restaurant in Bryan

Sorry Frankie's!! We wanted to try something new so after looking at pictures and the large menu online we decided to give it a try. We went for dinner. Walked in and there was customers but not super busy. No one was there to greet us. We stood by the door for a a few minutes thinking someone would be out anytime but still stood there. I helped myself to a table. My husband waited and was getting annoyed and mentioned leaving. Finally someone came out. My husband said , is that spot ok and she said, yep sit where ever. She seemed to be the only one working the floor so she was busy doing it herself. (Not her fault). It was a little longer than usual to even get a water and menus. I ordered the white fish, curly fries, Cole slaw, & salad from salad bar. Husband ordered steak, loaded tots and salad from the salad bar. Salad bar was the best!!! All fresh veggies and the good lettuce - spinach leaves, and romaine. Not the cheap ice burg lettuce. Food came and the fish was battered not breaded like photos I had seen so it was greasy. Fries were barely done, like mushy. Husband said his steak was rubbery so he took it to go for our dogs and the tots had a fake tasting cheese sauce on them and they were mushy too, not crispy. Whatever you do go in for your food, we live close by so my husband and I love to get breakfast to go, today is the 5th time in a row they messed up our order and today I even questioned it when she read it off when I went to pay and it was more than normal price we pay. (we get the same order ever single time) and they completely were dumb today. Order an omelet, order of biscuits and gravy, a side of sausage links, and two sides of hashbrowns. We got biscuits and gravy, hashbrown gravy platter (not all asked for and even questioned her when she said "potato platter" she said that's what they mark their hashbrowns in their system). And I got a side of bacon that was never requested, and sprinkle of hashbrowns made INTO omelet that was still Runny; that was also not a "side hashbrown". this is the fifth time In A Row, no exaggeration by any means, they have messed our order up. The absolute worse service... on Fathers day. I don't know if they were short staffed or what, but there was no acknowledgements made when anyone walked into the restaurant. No hello, no we will be with you shortly, NOTHING. When we did get seated the waitress was anything but polite. We put in our food order and 3 other tables put their food orders in after us, they all got their food and was ready to leave by the time we got our food... there was only 4 of us at a table with no complicated requests and all breakfast. We waited almost an hour to get our food. My husband's steak came back raw.. and the steak should have been the only reason why our food took longer, but it was barely on the grill, so still not understanding why it took so long. There was no sorry or how can we fix that mentioned, but they did remove from the bill. I hope this is just a fluke in how the operated that day, but we will not...
