Gummy Bueno — Restaurant in Bryan

First and most importantly the two shakes we got were impressively delicious. Fresh ingredients- I noticed a carton of whole whipping cream on the counter. None of the canned stuff that I could see. The entire store was very clean- floors, tables, counters, glass. The staff was sweet- no pun intended. The atmosphere was nice and roomy. And the giant neon Gummy Bueno sign is a fun touch and great photo op!! The only reason this isn’t a five star review is because the wait time for two shakes was unbelievably slow. It wasn’t too busy. There was only one person ahead of us. So I didn’t even count that time. They didn’t appear to be understaffed. But we waited and waited until we finally went and sat down and waited and waited.

We will go back for sure and grab some snacks or lunch next time. If the food is as good as the desserts we will be making this place a regular stop. Hopefully we won’t have to...

I went here last week and was overcharged for a corn in a cup. It was really small, and I was charged more than what the menu said. I figured maybe it was a mistake.

But today, I went back and ordered what was supposed to be a $4 large agua fresca—and they charged me $6. When I asked why they keep overcharging, they told me they had “raised their prices.”

Well, if that’s the case, update your menu. What’s the point of listing prices if you’re just going to charge people more than 30% at the register?

I got the strawberry crema it was great. I also got the pastor quesadilla plate it was the best quesadilla plate I’ve had in a long time. Pastor was cooked perfect and it was a lot of food!
