Stella’s Donuts — Restaurant in Bryan

Poor quality Kolaches, low quality service.

Plenty of employees working, someone halfheartedly greets us with "Hello." After we finally get our kolaches they just are not up to par. They use the cocktail weenie style meat which just does not stack up (they were out of the "large" ones with nicer meat, but personally I find those to have a disproportionate ratio of meat to bread.) The jalapenos are prevalent but lack any spice and the employee microwaved them to oblivion, making the bread overly chewy and too hot to eat without waiting for a great deal of time.

There was also someone picking up potato's at the store, which I found confusing and unprofessional. Yes, like an actual bag of potato's was handed from an employee to someone on the other end of the counter. Like the 5 pound variety one gets from a grocery store.

1/5, Would not recommend. There is a Shipleys that is slightly better than this about a quarter mile east on Villa Maria.

Don't normally write reviews, but this place was a bit too rude. They had 2 people, but one must only have been working the drive through. If there was no car there, he'd just stare at the line of people at the front. When I got to the register, I asked for coffee and two kolaches. She immediately rang me up, asked if I wanted a receipt, heated up my food and said goodbye. I had to remind her of my coffee after she tried to move on. She got frustrated at me, snapped if I wanted small or large, and then demanded I pay again. She didn't ask if I wanted anther receipt probably because I dryly asked if I was going to get another charge for it being under $5 (she didn't reply - and I was). Also, their idea of jalapeno and cheese is one whole jalapeno tucked into the dough, so it wasn't even all that great. All in all, don't go here, I won't...

I went to Stella’s to get glazed donuts at 10 am. I walked in and no one spoke to me. There was one truck at the drive thru and no one else in the store (besides me). For 5 minutes no one spoke to me - 2 adults and 2 children. No “Hello”, no “We’ll be with you in a minute”. It was like I didn’t exist.
