The chicken is good, but the service is horrible. This was the 5th time I've been to this location. The 1st time, I was doing a taste test between Popeyes and Churches. Popeyes won by a longshot. The 2nd time, I asked if they had any deals, and was told about one for $6.00 plus some change. When I went back about a week later, was told they hadn't had that deal for a while. The next time I went, I had the app up and a deal on for chicken. I read out the details to the person at the drive thru, but he kept saying he had to have a code. There was no code. So I ended up getting a 10 piece family meal that was on the board. I told him no wings. Instead of replacing the wings with other chicken, they only put 8 pieces in the box. After I got home and noticed 2 pieces missing, I called and told the manager (he said his name was Osmond, or something like that). He told me to bring in my receipt and they would replace the order, plus add something for my inconvenience. That brings me to the trip today, for the replacement. When I walked in, the employees were arguing about whose turn it was. I was the only customer at the counter, but nobody acknowledged me for about one minute. When I explained what happened with the last order, the older woman working was going to only replace the 2 pieces. I let her know what the manager said. She didn't want to do that, and yelled into the office to someone named Chris. She went to talk to him, then seemed upset that they were replacing the 10 pieces, instead of 2. She kept complaining, and went to the area where they cook the food. When the other woman gave me the food, I asked her what the manager meant by, "adding something extra for the inconvenience". The older woman got upset and told me that the 10 piece meal was the something extra. She said that they were giving me twenty dollars worth of food, for the 2 pieces. She was acting really upset. It was horrible customer service. I didn't expect to have everything replaced, it's what the manager had told me they would do. I only told them what he said over the phone. Then she treated me like I was doing something wrong. She was so rude. Before I left, said that she really must not like her job (not my best moment), and she got upset and (in an angry voice) said she loved her job. I shouldn't have said that to her, I know. The other woman asked me if I needed any hot sauce or honey. I felt bad for her, working with the woman with a bad attitude. Something to know about Popeyes, at least at this location, is that even though it's still on the menu, the Dirty Rice (I think that's what it's called) isn't available. Also, I ordered Spicy Chicken, but the replacement chicken...
Read moreMy son bought food after work from Popeyes in Bryant arkansas. and when he got home we had been given the wrong order. My son had to get a ride home from work, his vehicle was wrecked and mine was in the shop so there was no way we could return and get our correct order. The manager, Mckinnis Maynard told us we had to bring the food back to get our money back which was impossible. Beware eating at Popeyes because you might be eating food that has been returned and handled by other customers. She said it was policy. I have never been to a restaurant that wants food back from a customer when the restaurant has made a mistake with their order that they required you to return the food. Taco Bell has delivered the correct order to my home, apologized for the mistake and NEVER asked for the return of the wrong order. Other fast food restaurants have always been very accommodating and offered coupons or discounts for their mistakes and NEVER asked for the return of the wrong order. It is as if Popeyes doesn't trust their own customers when they report a problem with their order. I know the Health Department will not allow food to be resold after it has been out of the store. Why would they want the food back when they are required to throw it in the trash. If this is Popeyes policy, I will never purchase food from this restaurant, now that I know they require the food returned when they mistakenly give out the wrong order. Why is that their policy? Do they resell the food to another customer?? I will not be eating at this restaurant with such a suspicious policy. The food tasted terrible we did not want spicy wings and it wasn't enough to feed my son and I. It cost over $21 which I feel was wasted at this reataurant. Do not eat at Popeyes in...
Read moreHad my first experience at this Popeyes location. I called prior to see if their lobby was closed and was thankful I did so I could go in the drive thru. The guy who took my order was very patient with me as I have never been to Popeyes before or ordered in a drive thru, this is my first since my flight landed from Asia. He guided me and was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped me choose what will be best for my spice tolerance.Being Korean i love my spice but not too much😀. The ghost pepper wings were delicious and their lemonade was the best I’ve experienced in America so far. Honestly the best mac cheese too. You can get it chilled or frozen lemonade ! I had difficulty pronouncing some words on the menu but he seemed to know what I was saying and even understood some of the words I was saying in Korean. He took the time to perfect my order but the service was still fast and efficient! Super respectable guy and his tag said something like Cedrick.. sorry if I got it wrong.. I will be returning and inviting those who travelled with me to try it for themselves.. I have no doubt they will love it.. Hopefully he is there again as my experience was as perfect as possible. Awesome customer service on his behalf ! It is evident he has the enthusiasm to work and his smile is contagious! It’s him the reason I will be returning and I’m sure I’m not the only one who think this! He is the embodiment of what a restaurant should be !!! thanks i will be back soon to try the shrimp 😋...
