This is the third time Iâve made a purchase from this store, and the second time itâs been terrible experience. The first time was a rug that was delayed 3 months. I had called several times only to never be able to get a hold of my sales rep. I finally show up at the store 3 months later demanding my rug. They check in the back and lo and behold; they had it the whole time. It was covered in dust and grime from months in the warehouse. This last time was a sectional for 1200 dollars. They âdiscountedâ 100 dollars to get there, but in fact all furniture on the website is 100 dollars cheaper than the in-store counterpart. They are not discounting anything, itâs customer pacification 101. This sectional arrived 4 days late (I had to leave work unplanned and unpaid) and the delivery crew claimed they couldnât fit in the door after they damaged the outside wall, door frame, and door itself. They went outside as I called the store, I was told not to worry as they wouldnât leave until I make a decision on how to proceed. They immediately left. I waited for a call back. I was told by Paige that they refused to turn around to come back. I meet Paige a sales manager there. I understand Paigeâs job is to protect profit. Iâm a sales rep too. I wanted a full refund. They said I have to pay 100 dollar delivery fee AND a 20% restocking fee. This is all on the back of the contract which is NOT covered by your sales rep. Admittedly you should read every word, but itâs on your sales rep to HELP and INFORM you, not barely have any answers and keep quiet when it comes to critical info. After arguing that my couch wasnât delivered, offering to pay for the gas spent, and explaining that they were supposed to stay anyway and they took the couch with them. She finally offers to take back the 100 dollar fee. Now Iâve made it to the 20% ârestock fee.â 200 dollars. There is no way in HELL you get to keep your couch and STILL take the profit? No sir. I argued and explained as much. Paige took a deep breath and sighed, âSit, Iâm just going to give you a full refund.â I understand Paigeâs assignment. Itâs not her fault. This review is a result of the terrible ethics, service quality, and bottom line greed of this franchise. They will take no care in trying not to wrong you in anyway that benefits them or sees them indifferent. And when they wrong you, they will take every step possible to convince YOU the one PAYING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY to the MEGA MILLION FURNITURE COMPANY is THEIRS for the mere offense of trying to give them your business. Our experience with her in handling a defective workmanship problem with our sectional that we purchased from Ashleyâs went very smoothly. We were concerned prior to addressing the problem but Ms. Page immediately removed our concerns and treated us like valuable customers. We realized that she is in her position as Store Manager due to her unique abilities and effective management skills. Ashleyâs made the correct decision in making Ms. Page store manager and her customer relations, amiable personality, knowledge and ability to resolve problems are 3 qualities that she encompasses that were immediately apparent.    Read morePlease Inspect Your Furniture!!!! I spent over $7400.00 in furniture in August, and it was being delivered today. I refused the delivery because the furniture was straight from the showroom floor. The reclining couches had so much dust on them and there was trash and grass in the creases of the couch. The manager called and said she would have them to clean the furniture up and they would bring it back out. No Maâam you will not!!!! I paid for brand new furniture!!!! The furniture was on back of the delivery truck not wrapped or in boxes. If you wanted to sell something off the showroom floor you shouldâve sold it at a clearance price. Why would I want reclining furniture that everyone has been testing out for years. The manager donât have any customer service skills !!!She did nothing to come up with a solution to satisfy the customer. I had to change the delivery date several times and she indicated that was the reason why the furniture was dirty.. It doesnât matter if it was in hold for 5 years , it shouldâve still been in its original packaging. You agreed to hold the furniture and you also told me you could hold furniture for up to a year. Iâm sure my furniture was sold and they had to pull my furniture off the floor. If my furniture is not delivered to my house in its original packaging I donât want it. If I have to file a lawsuit to get my money back I will do just that. Iâve been shopping with Ashley for over 30 years, and this will definitely be my last time. They attempted to deliver my furniture like it was a repo from Rent-a-Center. Iâm sure itâs only certain customers that are being treated like this.Sissy the sales manager tried to talk to me like Iâm a child telling me she wasnât taking any furniture back after those nasty, dirty blankets were thrown over them .
