My husband and I are new to Maine, having recently retired from Colorado, and we’re loving every bit of discovering new places to eat and explore. We recently moved to Stockton Springs, and during a visit from some friends, we wanted to find a cozy, quaint spot for breakfast. That’s when we discovered Warren's Waterfront Restaurant—and what a gem it turned out to be!
The atmosphere is absolutely charming, with the option to dine indoors or out on the patio that overlooks the water. It’s peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxed morning. Though it's a smaller place, it offers a big experience when it comes to flavor and hospitality.
The menu is impressive, with a wide variety of breakfast options—and even non-breakfast items if you’re in the mood for something different. Portions are generous, and everything we ordered was delicious and cooked just the way we asked.
From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. Our server, Miki, greeted us right away to let us know she’d be with us shortly—despite being quite busy—which we appreciated. When the food arrived, Sandy, who was helping out by running food and supporting the servers, truly stood out. She was incredibly kind and attentive. We had an eleven-year-old with us, and Sandy made her experience extra special by letting her "build" her own pancake breakfast, complete with whipped cream. It was such a fun moment for her!
Sandy’s warmth, patience, and helpfulness were noticeable throughout the visit—not just with us, but with everyone in the restaurant. She and Miki made a great team, and their efforts added so much to our overall experience.
We’re so glad we found Warren’s and look forward to bringing more visitors here in the future. A wonderful little spot with big heart!
Highly recommend this restaurant!
Thank you Miki and Sandy for making our visit...
Read moreWent to Warren's for the first time for Breakfast since under new ownership. Place is very clean, warm feeling, staff are polite and friendly. My wife and I both ordered omelets, with home fries and French toast. To me, the home fries seemed to be the generic bulk type from resturant suppliers. They were the deep fried type, but tasted freezer burt to both my wife and I. The omelets had a good amount of filling, but were a little watery, and my wife's was scorched inside. French toast was a little overdone too. When we told the wait staff about our home fries, they stated they make them fresh, boil then deep fry the potatoes and that they dont freeze them. They also could not explain the watery scorched omelet. When our check came, the waitress explained that they took off my drink from the bill as compensation for the home fries we both could not eat, and that if we had told them sooner, they could have done something different, ( I dont understand how much sooner we could have told them since we told our waitress the moment she came over to see how everything was).
I understand that they just opened under new management, and they are getting into the groove of things, but very disappointed in...
Read moreDecided to have a late lunch here. The menu is very limited and lacks any true Maine specialties. First off was us trying to walk in the door when a waitress ran in front of us and didn't even hold to door open. Just ignored us, didn't even look back and say I'm sorry. We ordered lunch, the special and a tuna salad bowl. Waiting and waiting, I finally asked what's taking so long. Waitress boldly said "I only have 1 cook back there" certainly not what to say to a customer and how is it our problem that they don't schedule employees correctly. Also note that our late lunch was after any rush hr lunch time and restaurant was only about 25% occupied. Food finally came 35 min later. Tuna salad very bland/plain & I even had to ask for salad dressing. Special was 2 thin rubbery overcooked pork chops with some broccoli that looked like it was steamed for over days of reuse. They need to get their act together.... Dont waste your time going there unless you want lousy bland non Maine specials of food and very unproffessional service. Northern Maine has lots of quality restaurants, Warren's is just not one...
