Taco Roco — Restaurant in Buellton

I went to this location on 6/22/23 at 4:44 pm. I am a costumer that consistently comes to this location. I loved everything about this location until this day. The workers are usually nice however my experience with an employee justified otherwise. My server was Daisy S. and she had a completely nonchalant personality. She did not greet us and didn’t show any satisfaction as we entered the door. She was impatient as my cousins and I were ordering our food. Overall, she did not care about her costumers. My cousins and I ordered our food and we asked her what topping came on the tacos that we were interested in; however, she completely ignored us and went through with the transaction. Once we got home we discovered that the tacos came with a dressing that contained dairy, which is bad because my cousin is lactose. We wanted to make the moment right so we called to get it replaced or remade. Daisy answered the phone and was rude and not understanding our situation. She continuously stated how this was not her fault and the mistake was on our behalf, which is far from the truth. If a costumer doesn’t know or let alone asks what topping come on food, the server should go out of their way to confirm if ALL the toppings are okay. On the phone she was playing the victim and wasn’t even trying to accommodate us. We just wanted our food remade but she was throwing out different types of ways that we can go about this instead of trying to correct the mistake. If they had negative stars available this place would get a negative 5. There custom service is terrible. If you want to have a terrible experience come to this place. There staff said we had to put a mask on which is not a problem but we did not have one so we asked if they had one available they turned and walked away and never came back. They could have used there words and said we do not and we would have left no problem at all but walking away from us is extremely rude. They have the right to require mask but can not get mad at people when they show up without a mask when half the restaurants do not require mask. We've gotten food from there and have always been very happy with them. The last 3 times my girlfriend has had issues with the food. From soggy tacos and chips to just now. The chile verde she ordered had so much salt in it that she couldn't eat it. I always get the #2 combination. Chile relleno and cheese enchilada. The relleno was flat and oily not light and fluffy like it's supposed to be. That means old oil. The cheese enchilada was hard. Like they put into the microwave too long. Very disappointing!
