La Cocina Mediterránea — Restaurant in Buena Park

Now this place is located inside a liquor store, in a shady part of Buena Park, but if you can overlook those two factors the food has generous servings at a reasonable price. The owners were polite, helpful and welcoming. The neighborhood is dilapidated, got hit up in the parking lot for spare change from a man drinking a tall can etc. They were open on Thanksgiving (which was the day I found them). I was grateful to have a Mediterranean restaurant open on this particular day and was happy with my chicken plate. Which was my lunch and dinner. And it cost me under $20. Plus, I got a push up for dessert from the liquor store. Now the liquor store is the real deal. An impressive selection of hard alcohol to choose from along with beer, soda and ice cream. The store was remarkably clean, had a public restroom that was clean as well.

All and all I will go there again. It's just unfortunate that it is located where it is. It's a good location considering they have no competition but just a shoddy neighborhood with the typical vagrant asking for spare change or folks loitering in the area...

Started shopping here when they first opened and it seemed like every time we went the prices for the same item always went up this became a regular situation so I was like I won't spend my money with them.. 4 years later.. So I needed some steamed rice I call the lady answered I said do you guys have steamed rice she said we don't have brown rice I said not brown rice steamed white rice she said we don't have brown rice only steamed with rice an sat the phone on the counter I heard it fall she was on speaker as I drove up an parked I walked in phone in hand an said are you the one answering the phone she immediately said we don't sale brown rice I said I never asked for brown rice I asked for steamed rice she said I'm not gonna serve you leave now I said why because you left me hanging an I came here she just kept saying by by I'm not serving you I left because she couldn't hear an was inpatient I wouldn't recommend them to...

Ignore every single review u read here that's over a month old. The location has a new owner and the shop has completely changed. It's no longer bpGrill and the issues the previous owner had all seem to be gone now. This new owner is amazing with great food and amazing product u can even pick up some grocery supplies although limited still impressive. They also have amazing customer service I would most definitely recomend them to the neighborhood, so please dont listen to any of the negative reviews it really isn't the same person running things anymore and it isnt fair to start off their location with so many bad reviews due to...
