Looking for Korean comfort food? Look no further. You can find Tang in an unassuming parking lot shared with other small businesses. Decided to eat here with my husband and friends. We ordered the ox bone with flank soup, steamed pork belly, spicy braised beef ribs, stir-fried honeycomb, and a seafood pancake to share. The ox bone soup was nice and rich. You can add seasoning to give it more flavor. The steam pork belly was served with some kind of kimchi and steam napa cabbage. Our favorite item was the spicy braised beef ribs. I wished they had cheese , but nonethless, it was still good without it. The beef was super tender, and the stew was definitely flavorful. The seafood pancake was pretty big. It wasn't as chewy as I'm used to at other spots, but still packed with lots of seafood. The honeycomb tripe was also very flavorful, and cooked nicely. Our service was great from start to finish. There are plenty of seating for parties of 4-8. The spot is not super small, but not super big either. There is free parking in the small plaza, but be sure not to park in the Enterprise parking.Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for some...
Read moreThis review is for their spicy soondae soup (mixed) with rice! The mixed version comes with a lot of other pieces of pork rather than just the soondae itself and is super yummy. Their soup is REALLY good!
However, our friend ordered the non-spicy version (for the kids) and the soup was bland - almost like ordering suhlungtang which you need to add salt/pepper to. The spicy version needed no extra seasoning!
The green stuff it comes with is to add into the soondae soup while it's hot! Kimchi and kkakdugi (spicy pickled radish) are the banchan (sidedishes).
I also ordered one to go and it was packaged very well with no spillage! Environmental friendliness is questionable, but effectiveness for takeout Korean soup and banchan...
Read moreIn my humble opinion, Tang’s soups taste way better than the popular jinsol gukbap near by. I have a feeling the reason Tang is always empty whenever I visit has something to do with the ambience. It’s super quiet with no background music and kind of feels awkward. You can literally hear a pin drop… But their food is on point every single time. I especially recommend their spicy soondae soup and their soondae plate. No porky smell whatsoever and super flavorful. Now only if they can do something about the...
