Modoo Donuts — Restaurant in Buena Park

The best part of Modoo is it is one of the few local places, outside of Walmart, that is open 24/7. It is best visited in the early morning hours, like most donut places.

The breakfast crescent, with sausage, egg, jalapenos and cheese is delicious! After all, the crescent makes for a great deal of the experience.

They also have a broad range of different coffees, with all the fixings you need to customize it, and than some!

So it's a good place for a very early morning or late night meetup, as they have a nice flat screen TV and Kiis FM playing in the background, to give you a little privacy. It's also well lit.

During the afternoon most of the people stopping in, are to buy Lotto pics, so quick in and outs, with a very low selection of donuts, no TV, and a much different feel to it.

If you like your Apple fritters flat and crisp, and particularly candy sweet, than this is the place for you. Even if not your preference, mine being the thicker, less carmelized, apple filled variety, you'll still appreciate the quality and find a wide variety of other offerings matching your preference, if you go in the...

We moved into the area recently and I was excited to try these donuts out . I googled it and it had good reviews plus it was only a few minutes from my house . I went in with my husband and 4 kids .The night shift guy was just RUDE . Gave me the dirtiest look . I asked him for 2 minutes so my kids could look since there was only a hand full to choose from and he still stayed there looking right at me again I told him I would call him when I was ready .I call him and he tells me "ya well give me 2 minutes" ok no problem but he comes out with a new tray of donuts, I'm looking at them and he starts again with the attitude telling me "so your not ready". I could go on about this night but I'll leave it at that . I felt so unwelcomed . I'll give it a 2 star because they had a couple cute donuts to choose from and because my son enjoyed his croissant . I hope he wasn't the owner but if he was I hope it was just a bad night and that this is not his attitude all the time, thinking to myself that my kids are getting their donut and it might just be a bad night for him is the only thing that kept me there to...

Meh....I'm usually a big fan of independent donut shops. This one has been around awhile and is typically busy. The donuts are fine but you always feel like they are maybe trying to get by on the cheap. By this I mean I frequently see coffees that are filled about 3/4 cup or the big sin for donut shops...the mixed dozen donut scam. If you dont specifically pick each donut your getting their poorest selling, oldest donuts. Yeah, I know, don't let them pick but it's a good test for a donut shop. If they voluntarily give you a good selection, you can believe they arent cutting corners in places you dont see. I'm not saying dont go here..you will...
