BCD Tofu House — Restaurant in Buena Park

6/19/2021 - OMG - Downgrade from 5 star to 1 stars. I walked in to place a TOGO order. The skinny woman let my order sat on the counter (Yes, I can see my order was completed by the kitchen).. and serviced other Koreans, first. I allowed her to complete assisting other people after me.. before I walked up asking for my food. She actually ignored my order, asking me for my receipt.. pretending the kitchen made extra tofu soup with my order ticket still clipped in front of her face. She then try to short change me on side dishes and utensils. Unbelievable!

When I got home, OMG... I found saliva in the side dishes. Calling the health department.

2019 - We ended up here on New Years Eve for Dinner before heading over to a party. We were concern about the wait time during dinner hours. To our surprise, there wasn't any wait like Garden Grove or Irvine where I actually walked away because of the long lines. Food and Staff were excellent. Especially the Squid that is part of the side dishes. I actually bought a jar to enjoy at home. I would drive here in the future rather than waiting over 45 minutes or more in the...

Poor service and food at this bcd location, go to the one on Wilshire or Western instead. At first they tried to seat me at a small table and I asked to sit at a larger table which clearly upset the waitress even though the restaurant was nearly empty. As soon as I sat down she asked what I was ordering and I asked to have some time to read the menu so the waitress left grumpily. I ordered the bulgolgi combo and when the side dishes came out the fish was cold. So they later brought the same fish which I thing they microwaved. The waitress sullenly scooped out the stone pot rice but didn't put water in it until we called for the manager . The manager was very nonchalant and didn't apologize. When we told him how much better food and service at the bcd on wilshire had his response was he used to work there. So we told him he should run this location the same way as the wilshire branch. My recommendation is to not come to the Buena Park bcd until they improve their...

I would give no stars. This might possibly be the worst dining experience I've had to date. This place is run down, which I could have potentially overlooked if everything else fell into place. It didn't. I'll start with the food. Terrible. Flavorless. Bland. I mean the seafood soup I ordered tasted like pure water. Disappointing. Service. They didn't refill A THING, not even my water and served me cold fish! EWWW!!! I had to ask for the check after being repeatedly ignored! They never checked on me once after dropping everything off.. And there is a huge cleanliness issue, as I swatted flies away my entire meal. I eat at the BCD in Irvine once a week and have never encountered any of this.
