Ordered pho dac biet, bun bo hue, pho bo vien and Thai iced tea. Total came out to $85 and gratuity was included which came around a little over $100. Pho was a little on the watery side but it had meats though they were missing the tripe unfortunately. The Vietnamese meatballs were cut into slices so I’m guessing two meatballs total but cut into basically 6-7 slices. Bun bo hue wasn’t spicy. It was just hot and very watered down.
Staff was really nice, there were a bunch of flies or mosquitos just flying over us and the food which was annoying. Made us look crazy in there swatting our hands lol
Thai iced tea was $5 a cup and it wasn’t sweet. More tea than cream.
A little on the empty side and there wasn’t a parking lot. Street parking but the area looks very abandoned. But it was my first time in Buffalo and that might just be normal for...
Read moreSo I ordered a few pho with friends and everyone’s pho was proportioned well where mine was so small. Then I realized there was a guy inside the kitchen who looks out to see what type of customers enter before he preps the food. My guess is he adjusts the proportions based on your looks. Very bias and very unprofessional way of doing business. Proportions should be equal in size no matter who the customer is. Greatly disappointed cause I left still feeling hungry. Every pho place I’ve been to has left me full with one large bowl except this one. You might need 3 orders to get enough for a large proportion. Or weigh a 1000lbs and maybe you’ll get a better proportion or maybe an even smaller proportion. Who knows except the lookout...
Read moreI have been going here for at least 15 years. Back in the day they had a Niagara St. location. The pho is as good as some I've had in Toronto. The appetizers are all great. Lemongrass chicken is delicious! All the rice vermicelli dishes with different skewers are as good as it gets in Buffalo. Service can get behind sometimes, but that's because they are always busy. A lot of Students eat here, always a good sign of authenticity. I would recommend this place to everyone, even people who are scared of Vietnamese cuisine. The parking here is street only so you may have to walk some distance. Also don't let the location fool you, because you'll miss out on...
