Blarney Castle — Restaurant in Buffalo

We have been to Blarney Castle many times. We used to just go for the fish fry during lent. They still serve fish fry dinners on Friday. The large portion is enough for 2 people. I have also tried The beef on wick which is very good. Last night my husband and I went. We tried The appetizers with breaded zucchini, breaded cheese sticks, mushrooms and onion rings. It was a very large portion and we were full before dinner I had The Chicken fingers and fries and my husband had a fish sandwich with fries. The prices are very good. St. Patrick's Day, had corned beef and cabbage. Honestly, I tried this last year for the first time in my life from a different establishment, a hamburger restaurant. It was so good I wanted to try it again this year. Last year, if I had the dinner from here, I wouldn't ever want it again. I'm sorry but it was one of the most bland, awful non-flavored food I've ever had. I would not recommend this place for a traditional Irish meal. I have to say this Fish Fry is really great!! I usually don’t like the sides places give. Usually not homemade! The salads were perfect. I got two Beer Battered Fish dinners. I’m the fussiest ever with Fish Fries. I highly recommend Blarney Castles food. And a very nice group of people ready to take your order. We will be back very often !!
