My hubby and I stopped here on our way to Yellowstone for dinner. Upon entering you’re immediately in the area where you place your order. Menu has large font that is easy to ready but there is no menu available that explains in further detail what the dish is, most of it is self explanatory but some dishes are not. I got a half order of the Bighorn Nachos. This consists of tortilla chips, nacho cheese, chili, jalapeños, and more sour cream than any of these other toppings combined. Also very limited toppings on top of a big pile of chips so I had to make sure I rationed my toppings to try and make sure each chip had something on it. My hubby ordered the 2 piece chicken dinner. He tried to replace the coleslaw with French fries but instead they still gave him the coleslaw and replaced the potatoes with French fries.
Overall it felt clean in there, not gross and greasy like most fast food places. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food. The parking lot can be a tad bit tight if you drive a giant truck like we do. If you have a camper or trailer or something you might have to find another...
Read moreThis place is a shadow of what it used to be. I first ate here 20+ years ago and it was amazing, but sadly, not anymore. Ever since the original owners sold to the current owners, there has been a steady decline. Today the wait was insanely long (drive thru), the woman taking our order wasn’t remotely friendly, and the prices are astronomically high for what you get.
On that point, food quality has plummeted. Beef used for my burger didn’t taste nearly as high quality as it once did (my wife’s burger was RED through most of the THIN patties - UNACCEPTABLE); bun, which use to be great, was generic and low quality / flavor: potato wedges, which use to be of the HIGHEST quality and flavor, were shriveled, lacking flavor and seemed like they had been left under a headlamp.
Sadly, this once great small town restaurant has taken a nosedive since the original owners handed over the reins. I will not...
Read moreDash Inn review • I’ve been a lifelong supporter and customer to Dash Inn. When it changed hands menu stayed fairly consistent. I’ve enjoyed Dash Inn and supported the business during & after Covid. During that period prices went up. They’ve gone up during the present inflation issue this country is experiencing but I still supported them. Today though …. I’m finished. Another hike in menu prices. The quantity of food has decreased as well. I should’ve stock in Bighorn Nachos …I have noticed the amount of sour cream is the same but everything else is becoming noticeably less. Today I forked out 10.45$ for 1/2 order BH Nachos. I forked through a pathetic serving for the price increase. Hope y’all realize I’m not the only local who has made a similar decision to...
