Happy I found this hidden gem on the east side was first greeted by the owner Kat which is a very nice sweet woman had an appointment nearby was just trying to kill 15 minutes of my time ordered a iced latte which was pretty good Kat explain to me at the time that they didn't have their normal product in as she was waiting on the delivery that I could try this should drink out see how I liked it and if it wasn't to my expectation that it was on the house which I try to sit thought it was pretty good offered to pay for the drink she said it was on the house which I highly appreciate for the first time being in came back in a couple hours later with my wife and son I know it was relatively busy at the moment my second time being in been in the food service business myself for 20 years has a chef so I can understand one dealing with rushes and you have different workers try to deal with different customers and different orders how there could be some sort of confusion from the front of the house to the back of the house when it comes to orders and not getting the right orders out to the right customers which wasn't that big of a deal to me personally I know I personally ordered a steak breakfast burrito which was pretty good I know somehow there's some sort of confusion or mix up our miscommunication where somebody thought I ordered a extra steak burrito personally being in this type of business myself I didn't want to take somebody else's order that wasn't mine offered to pay for this order this personally I don't like seeing food go to waste or business owners losing out on money just because of order Mix-Ups offer to pay for the item yet again they said it was on the house which I highly appreciate got two orders of pancakes home fries and turkey bacon I tried a little bit of the home fries which was pretty good also got a wild berry smoothie I personally ordered a mango and pina colada smoothie which was pretty good super friendly staff and pretty chill atmosphere Cafe so glad to have this place in our community and the owner is an awesome woman...
Read moreI waited 15 minutes to be cashed out for a coffee I had already recieved. When someone came back up to the front, I said that I just needed to pay for my coffee. The worker didn’t acknowledge me but, went ahead and grabbed cookies for a person behind me asking for some to be added to their order they hadn’t paid for yet. She got their meal, cookies, and cashed them out. She finally cashed me out, the tap machine wasn’t working so I offered to pay cash. After I gave her the cash, she turned her back and I stood there waiting for change, she started assisting the next customer, I asked for my change. She replied that they didn’t give change back. To act like you don’t see me still by the counter, and assist the next customer is odd. She acknowledged all the male customers when walking in from a back door but couldn’t acknowledge me or just cash me out for a coffee that I received 10 minutes ago. I had the Classic egg breakfast with pork sausage, a cinnamon raisin bagel, grits, and a vanilla spice tea. The meal definitely hit the spot, though my eggs were scrambled a little harder than I usually like. I'd just order soft scramble next time because it's definitely worth a second visit to try more from their lunch menu, which is available all day.
