Every other Friday, myself and my two daughters eat here. The entire bar and restaurant knows us and greets my daughters (they are 2 & 4) we sit at the exact same table and we order the same thing everytime. Well, actually we don't even order anymore, we just arrive and they put the order in and get our same drinks. The food is bar food with a big upgrade, everything is delicious and cooked well. I get the steak frites rare (because I'm not a psycho) and it is a 14oz PRIME grade strip. Cooked perfect everytime, not one deviation. Sliced with steak sauce and hand cut fresh garlic parm fries. The kids get mac & cheese and chicken fingers and fries from the kids menu that is on the coloring sheet. They also give crayons and kids sippy cups. The wait staff (we usually have Andrea), the bartender, the owner Nick and of course, the kitchen staff who even knows us by our order are incredible with my girls. Honestly, as I watch over what I have declared my own restaurant at the other visitors - they are treated just as kind and attended to and their children included and acknowledged.
It's a gem. My girls and I will be there every other Friday per usual. I pick them up from school and they immediately say, "we're going to our favorite restaurant" and sometimes I drag my friends and girlfriend in-between daddy-daughter dates.

Read moreMy sister-in-law has a dairy allergy so last year when I heard that they accommodate allergies, I was excited to go. We had a great dinner last year and she was able to order tacos, which she said she hadn't had in years due to her allergy.
We decided to go back this year and got dinner last night. We were disappointed to find out that they no longer accommodate allergies. The only thing my sister-in-law could have was a salad and french fries, according to our waitress. She ordered the salad and fries (they couldn't even put chicken on the salad, the waitress said). I was so upset about this because they were so wonderful with accommodating last year but refused to even try to accommodate or make something for her this year, we could have gone anywhere for a plain salad. And, had we known that they no longer accommodate allergies, we would have gone somewhere else. The rest of us ordered. When our food came out, the waitress forgot to substitute my French fries for a side ceasar salad and didn't bring out my brother-in-law's french fries. She brought both sides out after we had to tell her about the errors. The food was okay but we won't be back, especially since they no longer accommodate allergies like they...

Food is great, various cuts of meat to try if you're a curious carnivorous foodie.
Fried Pickles are hot & crispy. The Fried Chicken Sandwich is 💣 & actually tastes homemade. The Ostrich is a must... Similar to red meat; it tastes like a prime cut of beef, filet, or venison.
Service is great, specifically the woman with short, brown hair (forgot her name 🤦🏾♂️) but she was very attentive, knew the menu, gave suggestions, as well as very kind.
COVID: I liked the fact that the patio was open, even though it was chilly. All servers wearing mask ABOVE nose. Spacious, if you choose to dine indoors. QR Code/Socials used instead of menu to mitigate contact (QR codes are single use, which was nice to see).
Check this place out for some good eats!
Last, just wouldn't be right if I didn't give a proper shout-out to the long lost, "Shadow...
