The Yard Ice Cream — Restaurant in Buffalo

We went here last year and it was a good experience but went back this year, 2 weeks ago and I asked for a vanilla soft serve with cherry dip and they gave me a vanilla soft serve with a cherry on top. Then I asked for dairy free vanilla hard ice cream for my son and it was not good, it tasted old and had ice chunks in it as if it were sitting in the freezer for a year. All very good reasonable prices for the most part. The soft serve is a lil colder tand less creamy than your typical soft serve so I opted for the hard ice cream this time and it was amazing the cone size was huge for a medium.. we got chocolate shakes as well they were ok but not for the price over all very nice clean places to sit and wait or eat your treat... Staff is always very nice and helpful great place to go to...

Very nice little shop next to Houghton Pool. Owner is very kind and I definitely love that they offer a 10% discount for veterans and first responders. Owners are very kind, he was excited for me to look at the two Harley’s in the side garage he has which I found pretty cool.
