I drive by this place every day and randomly decided to order from here; it was a great decision! We chicken over rice, a chicken roll, shingara, and doi fuchka. We had to wait a bit for the order and while we were there, we were asked if we’ve ever had the doi fuchka, which we said no. Not only did they tell us how to eat it but they assembled one for me and insisted I ate it while I was there. It was great! Such a good blend of flavors and it tasted so fresh! The owners were so kind and everything we ate was delicious. I asked for the lower end of the spiciness range, but probably could have handled a bit more. This place is a little gem and if you’re in the area, I encourage you to stop by! Everything was made fresh and just has good flavor. Plus it was very reasonable prices with decent portions.

Food is great, Just make sure every order comes at least similar in size and quantity, such as size of the chicken legs for example. Dine in service is a bit off, I recommend train the employee to be a bit more professional, the server gave the appetizer and the main course around the same time. Try to give the appetizer faster that way you have more time to prepare the main course. You should give the main course when the customer is almost done with the appetizer. Prices are ok. Keep it like this, recommend not increasing it. Love to come back and try again soon! In sha Allah Congratulations! To your new restaurant 👍

My favorite thing about this place is that the food is served HOT and packed with flavor!! 🥵 We got the beef curry, chicken fried rice, and french fries. Beef tendons were simmered till they were fall apart tender. The rice was light and fluffy. The portions were generous and the service was very friendly. I’m really glad I tried Halal Kabab house for lunch today, the food took a while to arrive (20+ minutes) but it was well worth the wait and I will definitely be back.

My family and I were happy to try out a new desi restaurant. The interior was beautiful, and there's much promise as a dine-in restaurant. The staff was warm, and the hospitality was amazing. With that itself, we were ALMOST able to forgive the lackluster and disappointing quality of the food.

The chicken tikka and chicken bihari kebab seemed to have the exact same spice mix, and didn't have the heat usually found in Bengali cuisine. The butter chicken used the same chicken from the kebabs doused in a tasteless sauce-- not at all what was expected from a butter chicken curry. Everything needed a pinch more salt. The fried rice didn't have any of the distinct flavours of fried rice found in Asian or Indo-Asian fusion cooking, and seemed confused. Again, the flavor was off, and needed more salt. I understand that this is a brand new restaurant and they may upgrade the quality of the food in the future however, which is why I intend to give it another try in a few months. I would like to just chalk this up to the chef having a bad day.

Without a doubt, this sort of fare is good for non-Bengali palates. If you don't usually eat Bengali food or feel intimidated by spice profiles, I would recommend this restaurant. If you're used to bolder flavours (as seen in typical Bengali cuisine), I'd still recommend trying it out but try not to...
