I was rather upset with the drive thru experience this morning. I stop at this location every morning and order the same thing. This morning, when placing my order, I finished the order, she says "is that all?", i say "yes" and pull forward. No other cars in the drive thru as it was 6am. When i got to the window, she opens the window and says, "you are not allowed to pull forward until we tell you to, because our window times will get to high and you shouldn't do that" (keep in mind there was no one else in the drive thru nor did I have a large order). So I said, "excuse me? I'm not allowed to?". And she responds "no, you are not allowed to, it was very rude that you did that and we do not appreciate it, then once again restated the situation about the window times".
As someone who supervised another Tim's location for a number of years, I found this to be very poor customer service and was rather upset that she felt the need to talk to me in such a manner. At no time is the customer responsible for the window times and this also is something that should not be brought up to the customer at all, especially when no one else was in the drive thru. I asked for her name and she would not give it to me, seeing as she was not wearing a name tag which is against company policy (not a big deal). When I asked to speak to a manager because of the poor cx service, she stated, " I'm currently the acting supervisor and our manager isn't in." I asked when the manager would be in and she said "I'm not sure." I asked if she could check for me and she responded, "no, I'm not going to give you that information."
I have never had such a poor customer interaction at Tim's before. Especially not first thing in the morning when I had a simple order (bagel and coffee) and I did not do anything to provoke such an interaction.
What's she should've said was "Good morning sir, your total is $xx.xx, here is your order, have a great morning." Not, "you're not allowed" "that was very rude of you" and "we dont appreciate it" when I didn't do anything wrong?!? Just very poor cx service, and not how anyone would want to start their day.
I will be in contact with their district manager as I am well acquainted with him, having worked for Tim's. No one should be treated that way, especially not by some 18yo girl who has an attitude first thing in...
Read moreLocation looked reasonable, and there was a good line at the drivethru. Inside was barely managed chaos. Bathrooms were not cleaned, and had no changing table, but we could adapt to that.
Stood at the register for several minutes before being waited on, which wouldn't have been a major issue if the service that followed was up to par.
Was hurried through my order even though there was no one else waiting. They were then out of the food that I requested, as well as the substitute they suggested. Meanwhile what appeared to be the manager had come out from the back and was complaining to the other staff. I was then served my order, which was incorrect. This was a grilled cheese sandwich and a tea, nothing custom.
Needless to say we were very unimpressed, enough to be posting this review. We've never had a similar experience in a Tim Hortons, so we know they can be run properly. I hope this location gets its management...
Read moreWorst Tim Hortons experience of my life. Just returned from the service and decided to get some Tim's. Waited in Drive Thru for 17 minutes which isn't usually a problem except for there was only 4 cars. Finally pulled up to the speaker and the order taker was disrespectful, not accommodating to any questions, and mocked my order which he then got wrong (Sausage Biscuit, gave me a Egg Muffin). Pulled up to the window to pay for it and the guy just stared at me with no introduction just a hand(no customer relations skills). Threw a crumpled up bag at me and slammed the window no have a good day, thanks for coming none of that. I understand it may be rough for them when they're busy, BUT they weren't busy and they couldn't put a smile on a clown's face!!! Horrible experience and wouldn't recommend if you like to have any kind of social experience, other than having stuff...
