From start to finish the Powerhouse exceeded all expectations. We didn’t have a wedding planner to help guide us, but with The Powerhouse team you didn’t need one. Steven and his team helped us through every step of the way with clear guidelines, expectations, and went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was fantastic. Their decades of experience with large events shines through at this venue. Everything was set up perfectly, and the food was absolutely fantastic (which doesn’t often get said about most wedding food). Our guests for weeks after continued to talk about how unique this venue is, and how the food was fantastic even though we had 250+ people in attendance. The outdoor patio is the perfect area for guest to relax, stay warm with patio heaters, and enjoy the nighttime views of its post-industrial area. Our wedding reception at The Powerhouse by Rich’s was beyond words. We couldn’t be happier that we chose to have our reception here, it was absolutely perfect! Steven G and his team made the entire planning process easy and stress free. He provided us with many decor options and truly made our dream a reality. The Powerhouse was the perfect venue, with picturesque views of the city (especially at sunset) and stunning windows providing so much natural light, it completely wowed our guests! The Powerhouse is an impressive event center in Buffalo! It has the ability to transform and host everything from weddings to Whiskey Riots! I was there to attend the 2024 Whiskey Riot. Their security team did a great job directing the flow of human traffic waiting in the long line outside as well as in their lobby entrance. I was glad to have purchased the VIP tickets. It was definitely worth it. They made a big effort to give us true VIP treatment and made our entry a priority.
