TX Burger Buffalo — Restaurant in Buffalo

I love Texas Burger hamburgers, usually. I stopped at the Tx Burger in Buffalo Tx. It had been over a year since I had eaten a Tx burger so I was anticipating getting a really good burger. Unfortunately the meat was very very overcooked, dry and tasteless. I ate it anyway because we were pressed for time and wouldn't be able to eat anywhere else for several hours. As we were leaving I went to the counter to let the young man know the burger was, way, way, way overcooked. I then went into the restroom before we continued our trip. The young man then mocked me. My daughter was standing at the counter to order some ice cream and heard him. She had something to say to him about his mocking me. She asked to speak to the manager. I was returning from the restroom when a young woman came out and said we needed to excuse the young man because he was just a kid...needless to say I will not be going back. Being young does not...

I'm seriously shocked!! The onions on my burger were thicker than the patty!! I thought I ordered a cheeseburger but what was brought to my table was more of a veggie burger at best. The meat patty, aka semi edible computer disc, was not only wafer thin, it was so over cooked that attempting to bite into it could result in some serious dental work!!! Same goes for the onion rings!! Hard enough to use as weapons in case of a zombie-pocalypse! The second pic is of the edge I had to remove from the meat just to be able to bite into it. My key is a reference as to the thickness. The bread part was so large I had half a burger left that was meatless... which actually was better than it was with the crunchy meat patty! A complete...

Texas Burger is a beautiful childhood memory for me. The small town that my mom grew up in had one that we would frequent on our way home to Houston. We tried to go to that one yesterday after a family reunion, but that location was too busy. I was elated to discover that there was another location about 15 minutes away! 😊 The food was fresh and tasted just like the favorite backyard BBQ burger that I always remembered. What was great as well were the upgrades to the menu. I was able to add Pepper Jack cheese to my favorite burger and though I absolutely love the seasoned fries I also ordered the sweet potato fries, which was new for me. Excellent...
