Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Buhl

For many years, I've come into the Buhl Arctic in Buhl with my family and the biggest errors they continue to make is not getting our orders right. The boss is rarely in to monitor and guide the silly teenagers who are constantly horsing around in there, or simply not paying attention, or poo pooing our orders. We've had cold food, we've had old food. We've had hairs pop up in our food. The milkshakes are poorly mixed. Doesn't take long to be consuming white stuff as my milkshake. We have had other people's orders delivered to us instead of our own. I don't know why me and my family have continued to come in here after all these years. They don't seem to change, or want to change. They repeat the orders perfectly, but the food delivered to us is not what we order. What they seem to love to do time and time again is leave the white sauce on my burgers when I explicitly tell them not to put it on! I hate their white sauce. It tastes like plain milk. I hate plain milk. Who wants plain milk on their burgers? When I was a child, I ordered halibut and fries and got a bad case of food poisoning. Nobody wants food poisoning. Not like I had. I was very sick at the time. I'll never forget it. I'm going to the McDonald's from now on because this restaurant can never seem to get anything right with our orders! Sometimes the interior will not be the cleanest. Sometimes the wait times are long when there are barely any cars. Probably the kids horsing around in there. Why they are still in business, I will never understand. We've given you so many chances for so many years, but now it's time for me and my family to say goodbye...

Buhl Arctic is slow. It is apparent they do not train their staff as it takes a long time to get food. I have rarely seen the owner in Arctic training.when he is there, I have heard him reprimand co workers in the back of the kitchen and has done it in front of guests up front. The owner has made comments to his workers that he will embarrass them if they dont do their job right, in front of customers.. I have seen some of the managers fire their workers out in the dining room in front of other customers. There are two gals that work there, not sure of their names, but they were not doing their job. One I believe was a manager and was standing behind the counter telling her workers to work faster instead of helping them. The other gal was younger, couldn't be more than 17 years old, darker skin color, and has a massive attitude. She also expects other workers to do her job for her while she complains and argues about her co workers and customers. I heard her one day blow up on a co worker and then went into the kitchen area where she blew up at the manager about how she was doing her job. I have noticed that there is only one person taking orders up front. Now I know why orders are so slow in the front. If it is that slow in front, I hate to see the wait time for the drive thru is. I can go to McDonald's and get a hamburger and fries for $3 and don't have to wait as long. Wife and I travel full time in our F-450 and Grand Design 380-FLR 42Ft. 5th wheel RV. I'm a retired veteran, currently work as a VOIP IT Tech and remote work full time. We stay in the local areas for 30 days and visit local establishments, parks and scenery and move on. We don't give 5 stars to most places unless we've had an extremely awesome experience.

Yup. It's a burger joint.

We LOVED the sign on the counter that says "Our staff is young and most of them this is their first job, so be polite and patient.. Etc..

We liked that.. gives a whole new perspective when you think about it.

Our experience was OK. We ordered a couple of hamburgers /fries and drinks, cost was about 25 bucks. Honestly, the hamburgers were pretty darn good tasting.

The place got packed with some folks coming from a soccer game while we were there, so the locals liked it obviously.

We ordered the food and waited about 15 minutes for them to come out and call our name to go back to the counter to get it. That's ok but the person yelling out your name needs to turn up the volume, LOL.. sorry, just our experience. So those who visit may want to keep an eye out.
