The Cup is an upscale cafe that serves amazing selection of coffee drinks, along with excellent breakfast and lunch options including awesome gourmet sandwiches and salads. For those with dietary restrictions, they have an impressive gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free options. The first thing I noticed was how welcoming and friendly they are.
They also have an incredible selection of breakfast and lunch options including awesome avocado toast made with gluten-free sour dough bread, Belgian waffles with pure maple syrup, sausage stuffed biscuits, and baked goods, including scones, muffins, and cookies. Their wonderful lunch options include a variety of salads and wonderful panini sourdough sandwiches. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options are available as well. I have a family member with many food allergies, so I always appreciate restaurants that are mindful of these and offer alternatives. I was impressed by the concern and accommodations for those with food allergies and sensitivities. The owners went the extra mile in sourcing excellent, high quality and healthy ingredients.
The Cup is warm and inviting with a relaxing ambiance, gorgeous handcrafted wood decor, and beautiful artwork. It would be a great place to meet up with friends or even a group, as it has lots of room. They have a separate meeting room with a TV that would be perfect for a small business meeting. A spacious outdoor area has plenty of tables to host a larger group or gathering. Of course, with fast internet, this cafe is also a cozy place to catch up on studying or reading while enjoying coffee and a delicious muffin or sandwich.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe owner does NOT know ADA laws regarding service dogs. She thinks like millions of misinformed people that the dog has to have a vests, āso everyone knows.ā Tried to explain it to her, ended up walking out. She is more than welcome to go on our FB business page āsouthwest dog training,ā and see that we are veterans who train SDs and have zero interest in faking service dogs just so we can look cool like 99% of the cats out there with fake SDs and a vest tattooed with patches that they bought in Amazon to fool everyone, including misinformed people like herself. As a business owner, she has a responsibility to know ADA laws and the facts regarding SD vests. You canāt discriminate against someone and their service dog just because the dog isnāt wearing a vest! And you canāt make up your own rules about āvests,ā just because you want your customers to āknow.ā My dog was well behaved and under total control the entire time I was in there - as it was trained for the last 10 months to be. Hopefully sheāll dig and find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat coffee and breakfast. The Cup is location in Bergheim outside of Boerne in a quaint shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the nitro cold brew with vanilla and hazelnut as well as a sausage breakfast sandwich and bacon egg bites. Both the coffee and egg bites were great, they make their own house made vanilla bean syrup which is excellent. This is the first coffee place Iāve been to that makes their own syrup so I appreciate the attention to detail and care. They also sell local art in a section of their shop as well. Look forward to...
