I’ve passed by her several times and finally had a chance to give it a try and was not disappointed. The food was good and the price is more than reasonable. I had what is called the today special with salad, chicken teriyaki, 2 pieces cucumber roll, 4 pieces of California roll and I chose to have the shrimp tempura (there are options you can choose beside the shrimp tempura) and I wanted to try the sushi so I had a yellow tail roll. I’ve liked this place for a year but the last 2 meals have been disappointing. New chef? Raw salmon was so tough it was weird and kinda gross to eat in a sashimi roll. Vegetable tempura was good last time but this time it was too oily and tasted like old-ish oil. And the veggies were sliced so thin, 2-3mm! It was closer to eating deep fried dough vs veggies.

Shame. It’s only a block away. It used to be “good,” now it’s “not that great.” Not worth the money.

Some of the finest Japanese food you'll find in the area. Many of my friends that go to the school next by come here as regular customers. The restaurant simply has a great menu with plenty of delicious options. The bentos are the best aspect of the menu, they're all amazing. The udon is terrific, sushi is amazing, rice bowls are great.
