Hilltop Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Burbank

This was our first time here. The view was nice, the food was fine - perhaps a little over priced, but not outrageously expensive - that staff, for the most part was friendly…

Except for the food delivery boy, “Jared”.

We were sitting outside (a group of eight) and they had an insufficient number of umbrellas for the number of tables. We pulled our table, literally, six to eight inches into the shade, to try and make the best of the situation. We were there to celebrate a family member’s 84th birthday. Jared, not our server, not the manager on duty, but Jared the food delivery boy, berated us, loudly, in front of all the other customers, that we were not to move the tables. Who was this lowly individual, and why did he feel that he was so empowered, as to create such an embarrassing situation?

Will I ever go back? Will I recommend this place to friends, family or my “out of town” clients…...

Today around 1130 am 6 of us including 2 disabled people with wheelchair have arrived to enjoy a brunch .Instead of enjoying and being sat at a table . We were shouted at by a White women who was racist to us . We simply asked to combine 2 tables together that were movable to accommodate is with our disabled guests . Instead she started yelling at us and showing big attitude toward us non stop . This is not what you call a friendly business and restaurant she wouldn't even tell us her name ! We then kindly asked for a Manager with a long beard he then arrived he also didn't want to accomadate us with people in wheel chairs because they were too lazy and rude to move two simple tables together so we can sit together. I will never ever step a foot in here ever again ! Please don't go to this restaurant you don't want to ruin your day because of these RUDE ,...

The food here was good (I had a BLT, minus the T and light on the mayo), but they had a very hard time accommodating my group of 16 or so in a timely manner. Of course we had called in beforehand to let them know we were coming, but that didn’t help.

Our food was brought out at completely different times although we had ordered together. My BLT was one of the first items delivered, but other people waited for UP TO 30 MINUTES before receiving their orders.

The servers were nice and quick with drink refills, which is nice because it was quite warm on the patio. This is the only reason they’re getting two stars instead of one. This was a very expensive lunch at a ‘premium’ restaurant, and the fact that they can’t handle a group of 16 is a...
