Title: Veggie Grill: A Culinary Haven for Veggie Lovers
Review:
Veggie Grill is a hidden gem for all plant-based enthusiasts, and I must say, it has quickly become my go-to spot for a tantalizing vegetarian experience. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the friendly staff, creating an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an extraordinary dining adventure.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the buffalo wings. Oh boy, are they the bomb! As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of all things buffalo-flavored, Veggie Grill's buffalo wings blew me away. The texture is on point, with a crispy exterior that gives way to a tender and succulent interior. The flavor is simply divine, with a perfect balance of tanginess and spice. The buffalo sauce packs a punch without overwhelming the taste buds, making each bite an absolute delight. Even as a meat-free alternative, these wings rival their meaty counterparts in every aspect.
For those seeking a lighter option without compromising on flavor, the buffalo wing salad is the most amazing thing in the world. Picture a vibrant bed of fresh greens, generously topped with crispy buffalo wings, diced tomatoes, avocado, and a zesty ranch dressing. The combination of the crunchy greens and the irresistible buffalo wings creates a symphony of flavors and textures that will leave you craving more. The salad is a perfect harmony of indulgence and health-consciousness, satisfying both your taste buds and your desire for a nourishing meal.
One of the standout aspects of Veggie Grill is the friendly staff. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and go above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. They are always ready to offer recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness elevate the overall experience, making you feel like a valued guest.
Beyond the buffalo wings and salad, Veggie Grill boasts a diverse menu that caters to various tastes and preferences. From hearty burgers and sandwiches to flavorful bowls and wraps, there is something to satisfy every craving. The quality of ingredients shines through in every dish, and the chefs' creativity in crafting plant-based alternatives is truly commendable.
In conclusion, Veggie Grill is a culinary haven for veggie lovers. With its mouthwatering buffalo wings that will transport you to flavor paradise, the heavenly buffalo wing salad, and the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff, it's a dining experience that should not be missed. Whether you're a committed vegetarian or simply looking to explore plant-based options, Veggie Grill will leave you impressed, satisfied, and excited to come...
Read moreNew Veggie Grill in Burbank, taking over the old Papoo's Hot Dog Show (RIP, loved that place). Same tiny 7 car parking lot, don't bother and drive in the neighborhoods (but watch for the signs, a lot of permit parking near here.) Busy but friendly employees. Not a ton of seating currently, I think they're still working on the outdoor space, which will really open up the area.
Ordering, no problem. Managed to snag a table, after cleaning it off myself. Fine, I don't mind, the place is busy. I'm here for the food. After all the Impossible Burger, Beyond Burger, etc stuff I'm happy to introduce more vegan foods into my diet. I wanted to take a chance on the Nashville style chickin sandwich, with a side of the corn bisque. Total - $12.40. Some friends ordered the buffalo "wings", fries, and a kale salad.
Food was just ok. The "chickin" of the Nashville Sandwich was extremely soy tasting, kinda cold in the middle, not crispy, not too spicy. Bread was kinda boring supermarket style spongy bread. Slaw was too sweet. Nothing I'd go back for. The corn bisque was very good, served at an appropriate temperature. The bite of buffalo wing I tried was much better than my sandwich, more chicken nugget-y than "wing" like, just a warning. Fries were pretty good. My friend couldn't finish half her bowl of kale salad, it was drenched in dressing, sloppy and unappealing.
I guess the question is - is it worth the money? The answer from me, is no. So many other restaurants in the area, and if I want to eat vegan I can easily do so now at many other locations with a better price/taste.
It's a tough location. The place was hoppin' busy when we were there. I hope they get...
Read moreOk.. Serious holiday magic over here.
Two weeks before Christmas I put my order for the "holiday meal for 4" together online, and... Yada yada yada my order didn't go thru. I didn't checkout.
On Christmas Eve, I started looking through emails to find my confirmation or receipt or something, and there was nothing to be found. Immediately I thought "oh no. I never checked out, I never completed the order"
I called as calmly as I could, and politely asked if there was any way to get the holiday meal. They told me "the last day for ordering holiday meals was yesterday... Hold on." I held. I held on with an iron grip.
The manager got on the phone, and again I presented my spiel. He set me at ease by telling me they usually make a few extra just in case, and that they had two left, but he would be unable to hold them for me. I said that's great, I'll be there in 15 minutes, if it's gone it's gone, but I'll get there quickly.
They were super helpful and friendly, and honestly, Christmas miracle, the food was actually excellent. I'm not vegan, and I'm also a pretty picky eater. The fact that the food came out way above my expectation, plus the last minute snafu that I put myself in... This place just wins.
So good. Thanks Veggie Grill TL!!! Saved my Christmas...
