We enjoyed these huge, full of flavor sandwiches very much. We’ve had tortas and aren’t fans, but Cemitas are somehow different. For one the bread is different and can hold up to the ingredients. Another reason is the sandwiches are absolutely huge. We managed to eat all of it in one sitting and fully regretted it as our bellies were so full later on. We could’ve taken them home and made them another meal. The spicy pork one was our favorite with lots of rich flavor. We also had the Milanesa which is pounded out breaded and fried pork. If you drizzle it with the green salsa they have it is absolutely perfect, but it does need that fabulous salsa. We also ordered chips and salsa, which was tostadas and the green salsa. The place was full of people and quite lively with a soccer match on. Really nice hold in the wall vibes. Felt like San Diego/Mexico.

I usually go to Buxx's to get their lunch special but I decided to stop by Cemita's cause I was craving Mexican food. Everything on their menu looked legit and the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked even better. I decided to go with the spicy pork cemita. Picture says it all. I'm pretty sure there was a whole avocado and half an onion in it plus a huge portion of spicy pork. It was $12 but pretty much 2 meals in one. 10/10 going back.

Kind of out of the way, but as close to the authentic thing I've come across in the Seattle area. The queso Oaxaca also seems to be better then most I've tasted. Not a giant restaurant, but makes it feel like you're in someone's kitchen. Solid place for a good cemita

Edit:this place is making a come up! I'm very happy that they're making the effort.and it's been yummy lately. Still won't trust the cocktail lol but the cemitas are getting better.

Original: used to be awesome! when the Abuelita was there!! But lately it's gone downhill. the cemitas seem over priced now, cost more for less in it. We used to get tons of cheese avocados and the meat was soft and cooked right. now it's tough meat someone described it as jerky-like and you'll be lucky to get a bit of avocado with every bite. The shrimp cocktails are definitely overpriced considering you get 6 tiny shrimp a whole bunch of onion and tomato sauce with very little else. I used to love this place been coming here since I was in elementary school and now I have toddlers of my own....it really has gone...

The sandwiches are huge! Crusty bread on the outside, chewy in the middle. They are not cheap with the ingredients and plenty of avocado. Only order the sandwiches and check your receipt, they will up charge you if you're not looking. I asked for 2 tacos and they charged me for a plate, and still only gave me 2 tacos. They know what there doing. Red and green sauce is good but you have to ask for it. They take cards and the staff is friendly, if not a bit shady. It'll set you back for about $18 for the sandwich but your...
