For my first time in Vermont, I wanted to try some of the local ice cream. My husband and I are not fans of soft-serve because it’s often made from a commercial mixture and melts quickly. I noticed the popularity of “maple creemies” across the state, and decided to try it here at Clementines Creamery since they use pure Vermont maple syrup. I can’t say that I’ve tried a lot of maple creemies, but I did have one at another local shop after trying one here and I must say, Clementines Creamery had them beat. The ice cream was stacked perfectly on the cone so it would not end up falling to one side, it had a thick and creamy texture, and was served to us ice cold.
