Great Harvest Bread Company — Restaurant in Burke

I came in took a look at the menu and ordered a turkey and cheese and avocado sandwich, while the man behind the counter was making it I noticed that he put a ridiculous amount of melted cheese in the sandwich, then he took out a nasty bag of guacamole looking avocado pre squashed and smeared a very thick amount into the bread put the turkey the onion the lettuce and tomato and rolled it up in paper handed it to me. When I got home took a bite it tasted like rubbish. Worst sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I decided to go back and try and get my money back or a new sandwich made and I come to find out how rude the person on duty was. She said she is not the manager and there was no manager in the place and that she was sorry she could not return the money back and that she herself wouldn’t eat a sandwich like that. Amazing how poor quality the staff is in there and how there is no supervisor and or manager watching these young adults properly...

Very poor and rude service. I used to come here alot but the quality is much lower and staff have change. Just a lot of rude people now. I was asking one lady about the bread and how they mill it everyday. She accidentally told me they only mill the wheat for only one of the breads called Dokota! (then someone said "No No don't tell her that") So most of the bread is actually just white flour or wheat flour they buy already ground. Really took the magic away for me. Maybe they just changed it to that way now? Anyways, worse than it was a long time ago. must be new owners have poor management. Also the egg is a gross precooked chemical "paty" they leave in fridge for weeks. No longer fresh food. No longer all natural and...

I don’t usually leave reviews but Just moved into the area and have been here three times already. The food is solid,the sweets are good , the sandwiches are ok. The young men behind the counter are nice but there was some nasty lady (she was wearing a Red sox baseball cap) that acted like i didn’t even exist. Walked right by to place items on counter and didn’t say excuse me, i smiled at her when she turns around and she again ignored me . Fine, not the friendly type ? it’s ok. But then when i needed to be checked out , i asked her a question and she talked over me to an employee like i wasn’t even there. Hope she isn’t racist cuz i’m not white . I might be coming back but if i see her , im turning around...
