Yangon Burmese and Mandarin Cuisine in Burlingame offers solid, flavorful dishes at a very reasonable price point. The menu features a good variety of Burmese and Chinese options, and the portions are generous, making it a good value for anyone looking for a satisfying meal without spending too much.
The food is well-prepared, with standout items like the tea leaf salad, garlic noodles, and curry dishes that bring a lot of flavor without being overly heavy. It’s clear the kitchen puts care into their cooking, and the consistency across dishes is appreciated. While it’s not overly fancy or modern, the dining area is clean and comfortable.
Service is friendly and efficient. Staff members are attentive without being overbearing, and orders tend to come out in a timely manner. Whether dining in or taking food to go, the experience is smooth and pleasant.

Read moreI hadn't been here in a while because it is not close to where I live. I was in the mood for Burmese so I went with a friend. As soon as I walked in I was reminded why this restaurant was so memorable.
The food is very tasty. The vegetable dish was packed with spices that enhanced the flavor of the veggies. The garlic noodles were perfectly cooked and also tasty. The ingredients were of good quality which really made the dishes pop.
The service was excellent! From the greeter to the servers and all other personnel all had smiles and willing to help in whatever way they could.
It was bustling with customers which is always a good sign. The floors and restrooms are kept clean. I could not find any garbage on the floors and they were all clean.
Overall, you have to come here to know what a great jem this...
Read moreYangon is one of my/our favorite restaurants. I've taken my family members who visit from all over the world as well as locally here and they all love it. My best friend and I stumbled on to this place a few years ago when I was searching for a newer place to try but with high reviews. It was love at first taste... Lol. Since then, we've had parties in their backroom and patio, ordered to go or deliveries, or eat here at least once a month. The owners and staff are very humble, friendly, hardworking, and gracious. I'm proud to bring my visiting friends and relatives here for so many reasons. Our constant staples/faves: Orange sesame chicken; salt and pepper fish; sauteed string beans; garlic eggplant; tea salad, samosas, honey walnut shrimp; and Burmese chow fun. Thanks Henry and...
