So this is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to and I am hoping these problems are unique to this particular store and not the new standard for DQ as a whole. My husband and I stopped in on the way through. My husband likes Sonic's (only a few doors down) shakes but I wanted DQ. The service was bad. Not even a smile (and I guess they don't serve them upside down anymore) We ordered two Blizzards.. A Snickers Brownie and a Very Cherry.. mine was barely anything more than chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a few pieces of hard carmel. (Light for a simple Snickers Blizzard..much less the signature Snickers Brownie) My husband ordered the very cherry. It was not only horrible but NOT EVEN MIXED. Just an inch and a half ...maybe.. down our Blizzards are plain vanilla ice cream. How hard is it to use a mixer..? the Funny thing is although the manager was watching the girl make them and said nothing.. I SAW WHAT HAPPENED. Figured maybe she was remixing the top portion .. you put those sizers on the smalls to make the cup taller so that the mixer doesn't go thru the bottom of the cup... correct? These were larges.. so the mixer CAN'T reach the bottom of a large cup WITH the sizer cuff on it...no wonder the Blizzards weren't mixed at the bottom. Seems to be common sense to me. Sadly this seems to be more the standard these days. However, the middle aged man acting (and I use the term ACTING loosely) as manager should have known better. If ever asked where the worst DQ you've been to in the country (and Ive been to one in at least 40 of our US continental states) I would truly...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst diary queen I have ever been to. The staff was rude when they did not pay attention to orders. They did not give me my receipt and gave my blizzard to someone else. We got our food 10 minutes after ordering, to which I stated I did not get my ice cream and she stated they were making it she’d bring it to my table. They did not, they yelled and someone else went up and took it. When I informed her she then was very rude that she already gave it out, I told her she gave it to the wrong person to which she was also extremely rude to response as “you should have told me” as if that wasn’t what I was doing. She then gave me the incorrect blizzard to which by then we had been waiting over 20 minutes for this ice cream and were in a rush. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard and received a cookie dough blizzard with chocolate syrup mixed into it. It was disgusting and terrible service to which I paid over $6 for a blizzard, waited over 20 minutes, to still receive the wrong item. I have never been treated this way at ANY restaurant. I would absolutely not recommend this DQ. Do not waste your time, find somewhere else with better employees with good...
Read moreI'm not sure if the owners have any kind of customer service experience. When we were placing our order, the lady literally walked away from the register, after seeming confused over the buttons. She called to a young kid to come take over, but just walked away with no apology or explanation. It was very strange. The boy that took over, I felt so bad for. It was very busy and he was trying to singlehandedly take care of more than 5 orders that were messed up or incorrect by the owners in the back, who didn't one time help him or offer anyone an apology. In fact when he did go to the window to get things corrected, they seemed very irritated with him and were slamming things up on the window counter. He did a great job but you could tell he was overwhelmed with everything that needed fixed. In short.. just because you can buy a restaurant doesn't mean you should. Absolutely, the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. And I've taught it for 20+ years. The only good thing about the visit, after waiting over 30 minutes to get out order correct and out to us, was the kid up front. He deserves a raise for what he must put up...
