Enclave Grille — Restaurant in Burlington

My husband, friend, and I went there tonight. This is by far the BEST opening night I have ever seen. We had a short 30 minute wait when we arrived around 6:30. The hostess was apologetic for the wait, even though she did NOT need to be. She was also very appreciative of our patience (again, not necessary)

We got to our table. Our waiter came by with water and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. I don’t remember the cocktail my husband got but he enjoyed it. I’m pregnant so I stuck to water and ginger ale. Our friend got a beer that was on tap.

We ordered an app of pretzel bites. After biting into the first one I immediately asked for a second order. The serving comes with 8 pretzel bites served on top of DELICIOUS beer cheese. In fact, my friend and I kept the plates with the leftover cheese for our corkscrew fries that we picked as our entree side. If you enjoy dipping into cheese I’d recommend asking for it on the side

I ordered the B&B burger, my husband got the beet and burrata salad, our friend got the house burger. We all loved our meals. I had to get my burger well done since Im pregnant and it was still a juicy burger. The corkscrew fries are pillowy and flavorful.

We cannot wait to go back!

Update: my husband and I came back Sunday. I got the chicken tenders and they are so moist...

Update - firstly, ownership is amazing and went above and beyond to make good on our first experience.

From the second I walked in, completely different experience from the first visit. Multiple people up front greeting and was seated immediately. Staff was incredibly friendly, personable, and attentive.

I'm a huge Buffalo chicken snob and their Buffalo chic sandwich is now in my top 3. Night and day experience from my first visit and this place is going to be a regular spot going forward.

Service is absolutely awful. Walked in and had to sit around waiting for one of the staff to actually acknowledge us instead of making awkward eye contact and waiting for someone else to seat us. No one said anything until I verbally said something about how long it was taking.

Once we got seated, our waitress (who was also the bartender) took our order and proceeded to not put it in. Watched multiple other people come in, put in their orders, get their food, and finish eating before our waitress even checked in again. Waited almost an hour for a fried chicken sandwich and a salad before getting so fed up, I just left.

This was a Tuesday night, hate to see how the service is when the place is...

Takeout Review:

Enclave Grille is a new American style restaurant serving burgers, salads, entrees, appetizers, and beverages. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant was really classy looking when I went to pick up my order. The food was ready at the time of pickup; the service was good and friendly.

My family and I had the garlic parmesan wings which were really good; it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My husband said his smoked burg which came with smoked Gouda, bacon, fried onion strips, and BBQ sauce was delicious. I look forward to ordering this one next time.

I had the Illyrian Burg, which was alright. It had kajmak cheese spread, pinxhur (roasted red pepper and tomato), chopped onions, roasted garlic, and red pepper. I think it was missing something but I couldn't put my finger on it. The corkscrew fries were the highlight of my meal. It's thickly cut steak fries that had a twist to it; it was crispy and had the perfect amount of salt on it. Overall, we had a decent dinner and we look forward to ordering from...
