After decades of visiting Vermont this might have just jumped into first position for All Time Favorite Restaurant Expérience! Even a quick glance at the menu will tell you you are in Creative Territory - and not cookie-cutter-creativity. Here, from the cocktails, mocktails through to all food and desert, the meals are designed to satisfy and surprise in equal measure, be it from a well orchestrated recipe or the freshness of the ingredients or portion size (shockingly huge for such a restaurant- indeed I might even suggest that most portions be reduced by 15-20% despite their deliciousness!) Service is friendly and casual though professional, prices are (in today’s world) extremely reasonable and the overall feeling after leaving was close to heavenly. It’s so rare in Burlington to feel that the price-quality ratio was fair, that the palette was intrigued, challenged and pleased, and that it was worth the price and money. As a bonus - even when this small space was filled to capacity the noise level (insulation) was low and comfortable )unlike other similar sized places like Gray Jay and the main room in what was Penny Cluse which are deafening and irritating). A top notch experience!

First time dining at this gem in the Old North End and loved it! I’ve been wanting to try it out for quite a bit after I discovered that they offer $12 pastas on Tuesdays. I love when restaurants offer some fun weekday specials. That way I can order way more food and justify it because I saved on the entrees (lol). Anyway, we got $1 oysters (not sure when that special is on but we got lucky), crispy eggplant, arancini, corn ravioli, and shrimp scampi. Everything was fabulous and I appreciated that the pastas on special were hearty with lots of fresh ingredients and not basic due to the lower price point. The real show stoppers were our fried appetizers. Both the eggplant and arancini were breaded and fried to perfection! So delicious and satisfying. The inside was cute and cozy with a great cocktail menu to top it off. Can’t wait to go back for more!

This restaurant is an absolute gem, off the beaten track, but so worth a visit. We went on Tuesday which had pasta (12$) and wine (8$) pairing special menu, which was unbelievable value and amazing quality. We had pork belly and arancini starters, both were fantastic and could have been enough on their own (didn’t take picture as they didn’t last on plate long enough). I went for the Pappardelle brisket pasta (remembered to take pic part way through), which was perfectly cooked, and delicious. My wife had sweet corn ravioli which was ala carte, which she also enjoyed. We have been to many places all over the world, including month long trips in Italy, and it’s as good as any dish I had in Bologna. It’s a place that’s well worth trip for foodies and those seeking both quality and value for money, you can’t beat it.

I think it was maybe an “off” night. Which in the perspective of the customer really shouldn’t happen. The low rating is for the service mostly which decreased our want to return again for quite some time which is unfortunate as this was our time and our first impression.

Overall, the wait service did not let us know what was in stock or not, and which entrees were available or not. It was met with oh we don’t have the wine bottle for you to order, or oh we don’t have the duck. I ordered two apps as my dinner while my partner ordered his app and dinner, my apps came at the time of his and he ate his dinner with me watching him. The waitperson was more attentive to other table, and when ordering glasses of wine we would have to wait ten minutes for the waitress to bring it over after seeing you walk by numerous times and catching glimpses of it. It’s a relatively small charming space yet you can see all of what is happening in the space. There was not communication on why we were having small pours of wine, until we got the check outlining a discount due to the small pour.

The dessert was the best part of the meal as I was interested in an entree that wasn’t available and not noted communicated anywhere until ordering began. Recommend not getting the calamari unless you enjoy crispy calamari being soaked with sauce and tomatoes. There were hits and misses and hope staff can be more knowledgable, personable, and communicative and food/wine being in stock. Parking is great...

Really nice place! Very welcoming. If I lived in Burlington, I'd be a regular, but for now, I'll have to settle for eating here every time I visit my son. Ava, our server, was terrific! Efficient, great personality and really funny. Hope she's working the next time we are in. Met the owner, Charles, very gracious. Told him all of our food was delicious. The crispy eggplant & pici was outstanding! We ordered an array of dishes, wanting to try them all. Everything was terrific! The spanakopita was delicious, flaky and light; the arancini, perfectly browned and filled with gooey goodness and the tomato sauce was perfect; burrata and the romaine salad rounded out everything perfectly. The raviolo carbonara broccolini was soooo good! I had the pink pearl mocktail, but added vodka and it was really good! Thank you Charlie! All in all, a great place. Liked that they have a lot of smaller plates so you could taste and share. Will absolutely be back!! Thanks to Charles, Ava and Charlie for a supberb evening. Greatly...
