ALERGY RISK!!!

When we ordered dinner, my mom notified the server of her shellfish alergy, and asked for an amended recipy which they usually provide with no problem. The food arrived and she checked her food for alergens since she requested the change in recipe, and found shrimp inside. She asked the server to correct the mistake and the plate was quickly taken away.

My mom ran to the bathroom to wash her hands in prevention of alergy issues. While she was gone the server came back and my father quickly reiterated that she has a severe alergy. The server nodes her head and smiled as she turned back to the kitchen. Before my mom returned from the bathroom (less than 5 minutes), another plate appeared with the servers apologies.

We checked it again and didn't see anything amiss, although mom was skeptical with the speed of delivery on the 2nd plate. 3 bites in her suspisions were confirmed as she spit out a bite of shrimp. We rushed across the parking lot to CVS, where she had downed 2 benadryls before we reached the register.

The first plate could easily be described as a mistake but the 2nd plate was a complete lack of care. This is the 2nd time a member of out family left this resturaunt feeling ill. Previously I experienced an over serving of alcahol in a margareta mix 2 years ago. I'm very conserned for the quality of care I have seen at this location which is sad because there are Also some wonderful people who work there and the food has been good. I just don't think we can risk our lives in the gamble if meals here.

Be forwarned that the food is good, but the consistansy in quality is too much for those who have...

This was my very first time visiting this place and I did not have a great experience at all. I will not be returning. The first negative was that the gentleman that I’m assuming is also a manager did not acknowledge us when we first walked in, he was doing something else we stood there for a min and then he only said “how many” not hi how are you, no cheerfulness, no smile. I also asked him if we could have a table (not a booth) and he ignored that and jetted to a booth, he threw the menus down and walked off. He didn’t say your server will be right with you, nothing. He had very poor customer service. So when our waitress finally came I asked could we move to a table and she said yes. She did not speak English well nor could she understand English well. For a first visit she didn’t tell us what specials there were, no recommendations for what to order, nothing. So we ordered and the food was not great at all. I ordered nachos and the meat (beef) look and tasted like potted meal. No flavor at all. The chimichangas, not good. My son had shrimp tacos, which was just shrimp and lettuce no sauce. I was quite disgusted. I had always wanted to try this place because I pass by it everyday. I could deal with the food because if I ever returned I would try something else but the manager and his lack of customer service skills left a bad taste...

I came there yesterday, with my husband for a margarita and some food…I ordered a strawberry FROZEN margarita. We get both of them, not only were they watery they also tasted funny. I had 3 sips. Our food came, I hadn’t eaten all day. I’m starving, we get our food, I couldn’t even take two bites out of my food. I was feeling nauseous and very unsettling. My husband finishes his food, we leave, the whole ride home I’m on the edge of vomiting.. around 10:00 pm I woke up projectile vomiting and having really really awful stomach cramps. I’ve had food poisoning in the past, so I knew immediately when I felt how I did. I woke up that morning in pain, constant diarrhea and constant vomiting all day. (Currently sick as a dog) We call the restaurant and they said they needed a doctors note. The first manager spoke to my husband on the phone and said he would give us refund no issue, he gets to the restaurant and it’s an issue and a problem, so much hostility from the GM was not even trying to hear what’s going on, very defensive. Long story short, their margarita mix is contaminated ect, because I drink margaritas all the time, never in my life have I felt so sick off a MARGARITA!!!! Please do not get a margarita from this business, absolutely disgusting. Definitely will not be coming back. I will definitely take my money somewhere...
