Dear Martini Golf & Sports Lounge,
I’m reaching out to share some concerns about my recent visit to your establishment on Tuesday night. My friends and I came to celebrate a birthday and arrived around 9 PM. Although we were initially told the venue was closing, one of your staff members kindly reopened and allowed our group of six to come in. We genuinely appreciated that gesture and were excited to support your business.
We ordered a few rounds of drinks, including martinis, appetizers, and some shots. The atmosphere was lovely, and we were enjoying ourselves. I personally only had two lemon martinis and was fairly aware of our tab throughout the evening.
The issue arose the next day when I found out what our total bill came to. Two of my friends split the cost — one paid $390 and the other $572, totaling $962. We were genuinely shocked by the amount, especially considering our visit was only from about 9:30 PM to 11:45 PM.
While we understand that quality cocktails and food can be expensive — and we’re more than happy to pay for great service and products — this total seemed unusually high for the time spent and the items we consumed. Additionally, not all drink prices were listed on the menu, and when people are drinking, they may not always be aware of how quickly things add up.
We feel that transparency is key in settings like this, especially with higher-priced items or shots. It would be helpful for staff to inform customers of prices upfront when requested items aren’t listed, to avoid situations like this in the future.
I hope you’ll consider reviewing our bill or at least taking this feedback into account. We otherwise had a wonderful time and would love to continue supporting your business, but this experience left us feeling a bit taken advantage of.
Thank...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I came in on Saturday May 31 and immediately sat at the bar and waited for about 10 minutes until someone acknowledged us.Once we were acknowledged before even ordered the first statement was "Do you have a card to put on file? Not a hello how are you doing what can I get you?I assumed it was normal to take a card immediately until other people started sitting down and getting greeted immediately.I saw 3 different people take orders at the bar and no one was asked for a card.I have seen things like this in the movies and tv shows but never in real life where because, I am black I have to put down a card immediately but the other customers did not.I am highly disgusted in this establishment.I have been living in Burlington for 3 years and no establishment has ever treated me this way. This establishment doesn't like black or brown people. Please take your money elsewhere you will be treated as if your money is no good.My family and friends have been advised to never visit this establishment again.
I came to edit my review to say right after I wrote my review the next day 12 different people wrote a review to bring their score back up.There is no way 12 people came to an establishment on a Wednesday (school night) and left a review. These reviews are all fake.Once again like stated before if you are Black Or Brown STAY AWAY they will not...
Read moreMy husband and I came here tonight for a cocktail after dinner. The place is very nice and unique for Burlington but the drinks are RIDICULOUSLY priced. I had a dirty martini that wasn’t dirty and very watered down. The blue cheese stuffed olives were from a jar, not freshly made and dried out. My husband had an old fashion which was better than my drink. Our bill was $37.51 before the tip which ended up being around $18.75 for each drink. After the tip these drinks cost $23.75 each. That is the price of an entire bottle of Tito’s. That is absurd especially for a bad martini! I can go to 584 to get the same dirty martini that isn’t watered down and they put real blue cheese in the olives for $5 less than what you charge. You may want to bring down your prices especially since we were the only 2 people in the place on a Friday...
