We enjoyed the food and experience and plan to return.
The good: I had soup and salad and they were both very good. The soup was hot and flavorful and they provided just the right amount of dressing, on the side, without asking, so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. The dinner salad was just lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers, but it tasted great and the produce was fresh and crisp. I had chocolate pie for dessert and it was really good. A generous slice, with great flaky crust, real whipped cream and not too chocolaty but not bland either. We asked if it was made in house and after some checking, were told it was frozen. We would never have expected that as it was really delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken tenders and fries and brought leftovers home. Our waitress was friendly. The place had a nice vibe and we were seated quickly. Good, fair prices. Good portions. Food was served at appropriate temperatures, hot or cold, as it should be, and not scalding or lukewarm. This is one of my pet peeves, and I appreciated it. Friendly staff as a whole greeted us and bid us good night in a nice, sincere way. I did notice constant cleaning of the floor and the tables.
Potential Improvements: As a couple of other reviews mentioned, the wall next to the booths is greasy and could use some attention. Both the wall itself and the framed art on it. Our waitress asked whether I wanted my salad with my soup or first (another plus), and she brought both together as requested, but I finished half before my husband’s food arrived. I would’ve preferred they hold my food until his was ready. The bowl containing my delicious soup was filled too high and the overflow was sloshed all over the plate underneath. Not a huge deal by any means, but since I’m listing potential improvements… My husband’s portion of chicken tenders was huge (another plus), and the tenders were so large, we thought they were breasts. In reality, I think they were pounded flat, which I would’ve liked, but he thought they were a little thin and a little dryer than he prefers. Still good, just a little thinner and drier. He got a huge bowl of honey mustard which came out before his food, and we were wondering why he would need so much, but when we saw how big the tenders were, we understood. He said the fries were good. Not great, but good. Our waitress didn’t offer to refill our drinks, and my water glass was empty. I would’ve appreciated a refill. I used my napkin to wipe up the overflow of soup, and would’ve appreciated another one with my pie, but my waitress didn’t offer, and when I saw her, our exchange was so quick I forgot to ask. The staff was cleaning and setting up the restaurant for the next day, and they deposited a caddy of jelly right in the middle of our table while we were still eating. It was kind of in the way, and I thought it was a little rude. They just deposited it without comment when they could’ve simply asked us to tuck it back by the condiments already...
Read moreI recently visited a local restaurant in my area and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the service provided. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of excellent.
The food itself was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that catered to all dietary needs and preferences. From mouth-watering appetizers to savory entrees and decadent desserts, everything was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and each dish was beautifully presented.
What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu and able to make great recommendations, as well as attentive to our needs throughout the meal. Their warm and friendly demeanor made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Read moreIf I could give a zero on the entire experience I would. I’ve never been more embarrassed or disappointed in the service of JCs. It was slow when we got in so I guess that means our server gets the order and disappears? My waitress was curt and rude. We were the 5th table in the entire restaurant. On top of all of this the entire wait staff began cussing and yelling about a TEEN server ? I don’t know specifics, but their collective voices filled the dining room so much so that a couple that just sat down to eat, got up and left. Then the ladies really honestly asked why they would just leave? As of the drowning voices of whining grown adult women filled our ears wouldn’t deter even the most level headed patron. My food was overcooked and despite not digging in at all and pushing my plate to the end of the table we were ignored because of the obnoxious bickering was more important than a customer. As a previous server I would not fathom talking about workers or treating a guest in that manner. I came here because I had good service before but for midday this was an absolute disaster/disappointment. Missing Fat Daddy’s service, food and...
