This following story is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in regards to execution & customer service, and the worst experience I’ve had had with any company. I placed an Order using the App, choosing delivery to a Dominos Hotspot. I did this because I was alone with three young children, ages 4, 2, and 3 months, and could not receive delivery at my home or go into the store for pickup. My oldest has seen the recent commercials so I wanted to order and give him a treat while his mom was away. Once the order was placed, the estimated delivery to the Hotspot was between 6:13 and 6:23. I left, following the directions link right in the App to the location. I received a text message at 6:12 that the order was out for delivery, ETA 5 minutes (the Hotspot is only 5 minutes or less from the Dominos). I arrived prior to 6:13, and waited, and kept waiting. Finally, at 6:30 I received a call from the store, and was told they cannot deliver to that location. When I explained I chose the location in the app, I gave the address and was told it’d be there shortly. About 5 minutes pass, and I see a Dominos driver go right past without slowing and continuing down the road. By this time, my two youngest had been screaming and crying for over 10 minutes, as I’ve been parked for over 25 minutes by this point. I finally get driving to appease the crying and call the Dominos. Once I call, I ask to speak with the manager, and I am told he is very busy and I will need to wait. About 7-10 minutes go by, and I am now only a minute away from the Dominos location, still on hold. The manager finally picks up, and asks for the address. I told him I already gave it, and by this time decided to drive to the Dominos. He places me again on hold, stating that he has to call the driver. When he finally comes back, I ask him what is going to happen next. He advises me that they will remake my order, and that it will take 10 minutes. By this time, I am already 25 min + outside of my delivery window. When I ask him if he is going to do anything to make up for these delays and me needing to drive to the location and wait even longer, his response is that he’ll give me 20% off. A whopping ~ 7 dollars for a 30 min+ delay and needing to pick up from the store, which hardly covers the gas from all the waiting and extra driving. When I asked if he believed this was fair, the response I got was that he is too busy to talk to me. When I asked again, he simply says it again, and leaves the phone (not hanging up, he just left and nobody was on the other line). So, I called back, and advised that I did not want my order anymore, and to please refund my order. All the while, I should have been back with my 3 young children already and eating dinner. The manager was rude, dismissive, and could not care. I placed a curbside order and they have a guarantee that if they don’t come out within 2 minutes of confirming your order is ready then they owe you a free pizza. 2 times before they would stop the counter and not come out for another 5 minutes or more. This time I timed them after they stopped the counter. It was 4 minutes after they stopped the counter and they didn’t come out so I walked in and asked why they stopped the counter if they weren’t ready yet ? The guy was rude and got mad and said that it’s just a gimmick and they don’t need to go by that. I told them it’s there companies guarantee and he didn’t care. He said if I didn’t like it then to complain. Well I’m complaining because it’s not the first time. I was met with the friendliest Asian man with the biggest and most beautiful smile. My order was beyond perfect too. I came from south Jersey. Our dominoes down there was not good. I ordered regularly but this is the food I was looking for. Great customer service. Great delivery crew and great food. My wings were fully coated too and I actually got my 2 blue cheeses.
