Southern Dreams Bakery — Restaurant in Byrdstown

Not really sure what happened today, this place is normally excellent! We had a group of four and went in for breakfast and coffee. The coffee was great but we all had some issues with our food. We all ordered different things, but we got two cold egg and cheese sandwiches, a very undercooked sausage biscuit and a strawberry muffin with a completely rotten strawberry in it! Of course I didn't realize we all had something wrong until we had left. I should've talked to the staff about this, but being someone who works in a restaurant themselves, food being fully cooked and safe for the customer should be the number 1 priority. We absolutely love coming here, and it’s convenient for me because it’s close to home and the school, also right off the highway. So great location, and it’s a comfortable and beautifully decorated little shop with three tables and outdoor seating as well.
