Bears Den Sports Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Byron

I do not like to give reviews, but especially when they are not good ones. I believe every establishment deserves at least more than 1 chance, but I've never been to the area and was only in town for a funeral. So me and 2 family members wanted to have a drink before we left town. 2 mix drinks and a bottle beer. First when we ordered the bartender (Isaac) was not at all social nor did he give off any nice vibes at all. It felt as if we were only bothering him. My questions were answered with snarkiness and annoyance. And then to be met with a mixed drink the size of a larger shot glass, seriously, we've never seen such a small drinking glass in our lives. My dad said 2 sips he could have had it drank. But when I got my bill was another real shocker $19.50, before tip, for a beer and 2 small mix drinks. Woah!! I've never paid that much for a (small) drink, not in Hawaii, not even Norway! And to get their attention was impossible although there were 6 people behind the bar. We were yelling and waving our arms at them but they seemed to be ignoring us. I really wanted to give a 1 star but 1 of the 5 girls behind the bar came over eventually and gave my relative a hug after she found out her mother had passed away that week. Which was nice of her to do. We will NEVER return to this...

We had a big party they told us they would put tables together once we got there- Ugg we all sat at different tables felt like we were all separate- we were not at all together to celebrate some of our party left feeling left out all pictures that were planned were ruined and not taken, the food was cold, we waited like forever to get our food, some went to the bar to get drinks were told to go sit with their party- rude- to find out they had a spot in the back they could of accompanied us with-then get our bill and was told then 20% gratuity charge due to size of our party that we each paid ( I know most places put this on the receipt maybe it wasn’t deserved) was not happy was not impressed- sorry if I would have known never been there before most of us won’t go...

My fiance and I love to go out to eat, and we spend good money on doing that. I had went to Bears den in the past and always loved their wings and beers and burgers. haven't been there in forever so had the idea to drive all the way out to Byron for some good food and service. I am so appalled by the service and the food that we had recieved. "Bonnie" our server was to fast paced couldn't hardly understand her or what she said , when we said we didn't like the food we weren't looking for a discount on the bill we just wanted to get our bill and leave. We didnt the even recieve the discount we got charged more. When I called to speak with a Manger Bonnie answered and as a paying customer I got yelled at. I will never ever go to...
