TT's Tilted Tavern — Restaurant in Byron

Went on a friday evening, arrived about 730pm most tables had their food, we sat down, waited 15 minutes for someone to come give us menus and take a drink order, we ordered 2 apps at that time. 2 alcoholic drinks came, apps came and i had to re-ask for my soda. Plates and silverware came 5 minutes after our apps. We were done with our apps and then was asked "Do you want more food tonight or just drinks?" We ordered our meals, weren't asked what side we wanted, had to flag someone who was cleaning a neighbouring table to say 2 of the meals wanted crowns not fries. Meals came mine was not correct, they were very quick to get me a new bun without guacamole all over it, to find out there was guacamole on the bottom bun also. They took my meal back and made me the correct meal with the same fries because now they were luke warm at best and turkey burger was still not correct but at least was edible to me this time. I ate half and asked for 2 to go boxes for left over meals. 1 box came, we had to re-ask for 2nd box. I was never offered a refill on soda but the 2 drinking alcohol were sure to be waited on. We never had a consistent server, i think every worker there was at our table at some point so who really knew who our server was. I was NOT impressed although i always give places 2 chances before i say i will never go there again but it will be awhile before...

We've eaten at Tilted Tavern several times over the summer of 2020 and we haven't been disappointed once. I highly recommend Gracie's Gyro, the Chicken Ranch Wrap, and the Chicken Guacamole Wrap. My kids like the burgers, especially the Gambler Burger, and my husband orders the Broasted Chicken every time because it's that good! It takes 20 mins to cook, so order it the minute you sit down. It's worth the wait!!! Their fries are unique, thin cut, seasoned steak fries cooked perfectly. A nice change from regular fries at most places. But be sure to give their coleslaw a try... it's FANTASTIC! All that and friendly service too. This is a great place to get a gift card for someone who's never been to TiltedTavern.

Edited 6/28/22 Two years later and we still LOVE going to Tilted Tavern. We have so many favorites that it's hard to choose. This is a hometown place, a wonderful place to meet up with friends. Don't forget to try the coleslaw! Note to the owner... please bring back the 4...

This was our 3rd time. Each time food was excellent. The waiting time to be served is always longer than other places, but today was ridiculous - Over 50 minutes. There was 1 table of 8, 2 tables of 2 and 1 table of 4, 1 takeout. It definitely not overly busy. Our order was 1 wrap, 1 burger, 1 dessert. After waiting 30 minutes asked how long b4 food was coming. Be right up...not. I mentioned about the long wait and if there would be any compensation, short quick answer... no. Even though food is excellent, won't go back again due to wait time. My time is worth...
