Nice place to hang out. But the experience didn't leave us happy. Here's why:
The food wasn't seasoned well (our party of three all felt that way).
Portions were disappointingly small. The complimentary chips they brought were about what you'd find in one of those small bags of chips for a individual you get with your sandwich at Subway. We were a party of three expected to share.
They will only make a max of two checks per table. So we had to do our own math and figure out how to pay our share separately at the end.
It took a long time to get our food.
None of the reasons above are deal breakers by themselves. Maybe The server messed up and didn't bring as many chips as they were supposed to? Maybe kitchen was understaffed because someone called in sick? Maybe they were training a new cook and he forgot to add season to the food? I can make excuses for all of those things if it was only one. But when I go to a restaurant and I'm going to hand over my hard earned money, I just want to be taken care of. Not disappointed. Not made to feel like we are bothering you to ask for separate checks. All of the above just added up to an experience that wasn't worth the time or money spent.
If the owner is paying attention here is some free advice for you:
Remember you have one shot to earn someone's business as regular customers. You wasted that shot on us today. Think about what it means to "earn" repeat business. You gave us food that filled our bellies and we paid our check. But since you are priced more than double what one would spend at McDonald's or Church's, you have to make us enjoy the experience (and fast food places WILL let us pay separately!). If we don't enjoy or we are disappointed multiple times orbmade to feel like we are bothering you during our visit you fail to do that. There are many other places we frequent that do delight us. So unfortunately I don't think we'll be back to your place. And that last sentence brings me so much pain to say because I LOVE...

WORST EXPERIENCE since I came to PR. They gave me a receipt for $34.93 for 2 tacos and two beverages, but when I left I later notice they charged me $72.93. I called them but they gave me the run around, so I drove back down there and asked what the misunderstanding was and they said that the extra charge was a tip. I explained to the so-called owner that was absolutely not the case he got rude with me. I then demanded a refund loudly, and he complied. I started walking out and the little guy says, “don’t ever come back” and said,” No problem thief.” And then he ran up behind me and tried to push me. Horrible place that lies, cheats, and steals. Had the nachos with ground beef. They were pretty good (not great 🤷🏽♀️) and not expensive. Didn't have to wait for a long time either. This place is smaller on the inside than I expected but still a vibe. Outdoor eating option which is nice. They have the option of getting your drink or beer in a tower which is unnecessary but totally needed in my life!! I'll be going back for that! It's so unique that they serve Mexican and Italian cuisine...
