La Tahona Pan & Deli — Restaurant in Caguas

I like this Deli/bakery. I visited here three times for breakfast and was impressed by the quality of the food. It is conveniently located in a quiet residential area. The menu consists of sandwiches, bread, and pastries. My mother loves the coffee there. My issues were the limited menu. Not all of the staff were Bilingual; this might pose a problem for English-speaking visitors. My last two issues were the slow service offered and the consistent noise coming from both the kitchen and the customers. Other than that, this deli/bakery is a great place to have a light breakfast to start...

It is very bad taste that they sweep the carpets, raising dust and damaging to health while people eat, those things are done before opening the store or when closing the store. The wait is too long even with only 2 customers while they chat in the kitchen and on top of that they serve you burnt breakfast. I hope they improve their service before they lose more customers.

De muy mal gusto que barran las alfombras levantando polvo y perjudicial para la salud mientras las personas comen, esas cosas sa hacen antes de abrir la tienda o al cerrar la tienda. La espera es demaciada aun estando con solo 2 clientes mientras charlan en la cocina y por encima te sirven el desayuno quemado. Espero que mejoren su servicio antes de que pierdan...

Be prepared to wait for your food. The girls need to be more polished in the way they treat their customers. But the food is good and the quesitos de guava are delicious. Oh yeah and try the empanadas, tacos...
